Nancy,
question from my DW: When you bought the golden mickey ears, did you get a VMK card with a code? She is a Virtual Magic Kingdomer and was curious.

Thanks,
Paul

Paul,

I don't think we got anything with those ears. We just got a receipt for the purchase which I of course tossed out when we got home. We gave the ears to my neice and nephew. I called my other SIL to see if there was anything on the hats and they took the tags off when they got them from us.

Sorry...wish I could help.

Nancy :flower:

I am just getting my 11 year old interested in VMK but we really do not have a clue how to play it...maybe we will have to start a new thread with instructions! LOL!

I am so glad the day is getting closer! i am still packing...i think some of the clothes i want are in my winter boxes so i have to go through those too! and alot of the cute things i have collected throughout the year (sunscreen, sunglasses, etc) are hiding where i cannot find them.....

Hey Paul...

Jason and I have second seating...he wants to know if he can have your lobster when you fall alseep? Seems to think it wouldn't make a very good pillow... :teeth:

Count us in for "Tag " Room 6078 - Lynn & Ken
It is a large group, my husband and alot of his co-workers and famlies going - We will be well protected if you get my drift .
It their chance to relax

That's totally the way Jason and I eat in public...you guys will have no problem spotting us in a crowded dining room. Just throw that lobster our way and he'll take care of the rest!

Sam,

Can't remember where you are in NC, but I hope you are safe from Ophelia. Keep dry!

Ditto, Captain Sam. Batten down the hatches, hoist the mainsail, and drop anchor in a safe port.

On a more frivolous note...I'm keeping my eye on that thread that mentions recent Eastern itinerary navigators. Someone has them but can't seem to figure out how to get copies to the desperate masses (myself included). I will keep you all posted on the feeding frenzy...unless you wish to add your collective voices to the swelling chorus of demand. :teeth:

Argh ye matey! Sam, hope yar doin well...

Sept 19th is talk like a pirate day BTW.. so I have a poll inside our thread.

who is your favorite pirate:

1. The Dread Pirate Roberts
2. Jack Sparrow
3. The Pittsburgh Pirates :rotfl2:
4. Long John Silvers restaurant
5. Lyle the Kindly Viking

I'm torn between the Pittsburg Pirates (because the Cardinals usually smack them around) and the Dread Pirate Roberts.

I think I'll just cast my vote for the ROUS.... :teeth:

Looks like me before the 1st coffee of the day!

Look at the teeth on that thing - I think we should make the ROUS the official Molar Express Mascot!

I'm going to have to go home and watch The Princess Bride tonight. :goodvibes

Hey Paul,

Where did you get the picture of my ex-husband (30 years ago)??? The ROUS looks just like him!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

We're fine here...Thanks for asking! We're far enough inland that all we have gotten is a bit of rain and some mild wind. Unfortunately, our coastal areas are taking a real pounding. Ophelia may only be a Cat 1, but it is moving very, very slowly, and dragging right up the coast. The flooding and beach erosion in some areas is going to be very significant.

Yes, I've been following that thread as well, and I saw your post where you were begging and pleading for the Navigators. :rotfl2: Of course, I'll be right there in the surge of humanity trying to get to them when (if) they are posted! We DISers are a pathetic bunch of DCL-information junkies, aren't we? :teeth: :rotfl:

I think I'll vote for "Long John Silvers" just because nobody else has...Love that fried fish! :teeth:
