Nancy,

I am not too worried about getting her switched.. We just wish it would happen before we board so we don't have to mess with it on the ship!

All we can do is keep checking!

That was an awfully nice thought! :goodvibes

I messed up Josie's immigration form so I have to fill her's out at the port. :guilty:

Yea, I wish I had my Palo Brunch ressies too. I don't want to have to do anything but run around and get acquainted with the ship when we get there. I'm not looking forward to standing in a line trying to make reservations. Oh well, next cruise I'll be able to book Palo 90 days out instead of 75.

BTW...do they give you little maps of the ship?

Nancy :earboy2:

Nancy, I just got off the phone with Disney and they said that Palo reservations line will be on Deck 4 at Studio Sea but sometimes they change the site. I think we will get a little map when we board too.

Well, my sister-in-law who is in the connecting cabin will hopefully join our group--I've been given her some updates and last night she went to see Annie with a friend and decided to wear some new strappy sandals...The price to be pretty/cute she got two big blisters :sad1: :sad1: Soooo, hopefully both my DH and SIL - Carla will be healed by Friday :flower: :wizard: :wizard: :Pinkbounc

Jason, your girls are adorable, and yes I think those costumes are perfect for formal/semi formal night. :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :earsgirl: :earsgirl: :earsgirl:

Well, gotta go eat and do more sorting/packing. I finished ironing out my son's tuxedo shirt and he chose a nice cumberbun and bowtie.

Would these be appropriate for formal/semi-formal night? They don't really have any dressy dresses.
Jason, those are adorable! I think they'd be perfect. I'd be honored to sit next to such princesses at a formal dinner. I didn't realize you were from Nashville. That's where my husband and I met (at Vandy). Man, do I miss Nashville! We were actually talking about taking a trip up there sometime soon just to eat at Pancake Pantry. I LOVE their chocolate chip pancakes.

Cute dresses for your little ones, Jason. Heck, if I could get away with it I'd dress like that on formal night!! :teeth:

Just came back from the spa...I've got that facial / eye treatment goodness going on right now...if only every day could be like this. :goodvibes

I tried on all of my dresses this morning and they all fit!!  The only problem is now I have too many to choose from...oh well, I like variety and Jason is tough...he can handle the extra baggage!! :teeth:

Also got my lovely email reminder from Florida Tours...these guys are great...they also let us know that they remember we're coming, what time, what date...etc...fabulous service!

Suzie...I think a fair number of us are going to brunch on Monday...we all scheduled the same day within 30 minutes of each other completely unintentionally. I know we are at 11:30AM, I think Sam is 11AM, and Kathy is in there too. There are also some of our group going Sunday morning but I don't remember who. :confused3

Can't wait for Saturday!!!

Catch ya later!

Brenda :goodvibes

PS....GO CARDS! :cheer2:

Thanks Brenda for answering..... :flower:
I can't believe that Lobster is on Thursday night!! We do have Palo reservations on Thurs!! I love Lobster!! I wonder if they can serve the lobster at Palo!! Take Care!

Suzie - I've heard that Palo does have lobster as a menu option on semi-formal night so that guests who dine there that evening don't have to give it up. Don't know from experience but that's the scuttlebutt.

B.

PS...How forgetful of me...I must need a nap! Go Cards!! :cheer2:

OK ...

Formal night is Sunday. Semi-formal is Thursday (that's my Palo dinner night). Which night is pirate night?

Pardon me....

I just wanted to ask if anyone is planning on doing a "LIVE FROM THE MAGIC" thread and update us on the changes from drydock??

TIA!

I would like too if the internet is not too expensive...... :cool1: I plan on sending an e-mail back home too.

I am sure someone from the this thread will post! :goodvibes

Night is on Tuesday!! St.Martin day!!

Thanks for the quick response Michelle. Now let me ask another question ... other than dressing up as pirates, pillaging and looting St. Martin and doing the requisite 'arrrrrr' what happens on Pirate night?

We've got a Captain Hook costume somewhere in the house I need to find for our 4 yr. old.

I try to be internet free when we go on DCL, so I won't be posting. I'm leaving my blackberry at home so from Friday afternoon at 3 until late on the 23rd, I'll be out of the loop. Can't wait.

Cute princess dresses! My daughter Mia will be wearing her Snow White one on formal night, as for me, I don't own anything but jeans and tennis shoes, so you can image how hard this has been. I basically packed slacks (yuck!) for formal & semi. I am the one who cheered when I heard jeans were now allowed at dinners!

I'm off to the md's, I dont have a tooth problem, but I seemed to have developed a raging sinus infection...(anyone every fly with one? :headache: )

Griselda :3dglasses

Jason, your princesses are just adorable!! How perfect for the formal nights!! :flower: ...makes me miss having a girl, they are just precious :flower:

I talked to DH so I guess we are going to try to change our Palo night, so we can have Lobster and Palo food :goodvibes

Mia, I'm with you...I just want my jeans and jean jacket/sandals/tennies!!! I was trying everything on yesterday to see what to take and I kept saying to my husband doesn't it look good with this wonderful jean jacket!! :rotfl: I guess before kids I was burnt out...the corporate world, high heels all the time, suits, probably had about 50!! Now I'm just a jeans kinda girl!! ...and tennies to stay up with my 3 boys!! I really think Lobster would taste great in my jeans!! ...but don't worry everyone I'm following the dress code!! :teeth:

I also have a sinus infection and of all things I am getting tooth aches!!! Dr. said to take the sinus medicine and it should go away. Talk about the molar express!! I think the wonderful ocean air will clear everyone up!! :sunny:

Take care!!

We may have to add Molar/Sinus express!!!
The way I see it, nothing a fruity blended drink can't take care of... :teeth:

Will someone go over (again) how to add a pic at the bottom? I got my album up, but the pictures show up as links, not pics!

Hi everyone!
-Had a super busy weekend, but I am now hoping things will be back to normal. :)

sorry to hear about the sinus infections. Hope you guy's feel better by Saturday. :sunny: Like Griselda said..Nothing that a fruity blended drink can't take care of. :drinking: Even better mixed with a little sinus medication. :earseek: :tilt: :)

Welcome Kimberly, glad that you could join us crazy people. Although, some are alot crazier than others, but we won't mention any names. You guy's know who you are. ::yes:: :teeth:

Well, I have a fooball player to pick up from practice so gotta run!

Have a good evening everyone & hope ya all get some sleep. :cloud9:

Betsy,
I sent you a pm. We always get the unlimited pkg. I will be posting almost everyday.... and will post as soon as i can on the 15th!

Suzie and Griselda....

I am so with you both on the "dress-up" thing. The last dress I wore was my wedding dress 25 years ago!!! I am wearing a pants suit for formal night. Dh also hates dressing up. He did buy a jacket for formal night, but won't wear it if he see's someone else not wearing theirs. A shirt and tie would be just fine for him.

I will enjoy seeing others in those beautiful gowns and tux's but it's just not us. Now isn't that nice that we can post things like this on this thread and not get flamed for it? The folks on this thread have way too much class for that. I'm glad I'm part of it!!

I am just going to enjoy myself on this cruise and all the new friends I've made in the past few months!!

Nancy :wave2:

Nancy,
I see you've already caught the bug

Hey Jo...Oh I already am hooked!! I just wish it wouldn't take us three years to save up for another cruise. What time are you and Danny planning on going to the port on Saturday? Of course, we want to be the first ones on the ship so we can explore!! Oh yeah...after Palo brunch ressies.

My boss asked me today what day I leave? I told him I already left!!!
