I will definitely be a "couple" again. It's a win/win situation!Maybe we can be a "couple" again with the spa!
Silverfox97 said:No - but it was AWESOME. We did make a tequila sunrise as one of our 5 drinks.

This is a super quiet thread. I totally agree. I figured that the FB page was more active (that what happened on our June cruise - once there was a FB page, the DIS thread fell silent). Now that I think about it, our Oct 2011 Western on the Magic thread was also super quiet. I think we had like 7-10 FE participants & barely any kids. It's much different on summer, break, or holiday cruises. And, it may pick up closer to sailing as well.
...
What I do wish for is to have my fellow cruisers start planning things for this cruise.
I wish to do cruise t-shirts or FE gifts with a cruise logo. No one has offered one, but my ideas were shot down.
I wish to hear thoughts on what others are thinking about for excursions and if/what they have tried before.
I wish that others would join us in conversations as there seem to be less than 10 people involved.
Most of all I wish for us to have a great trip and great weather.![]()
I posted this in another thread:
We've pretty much settled on the Chacchoben Mayan Ruins in Costa Maya and The Secret River and Playa Del Carmen in Cozumel.
Still trying to choose a Grand Cayman port excursion. We're leaning toward the Catamaran, Reef and Kittiwake Snorkel Sail but a number of others look fun.
This is our first cruise and I come and go as I plan. I don't do FB so this thread is my only connection to this cruise. We're going to Disneyland at the end of May and I plan on buying some inexpensive souvenirs as FE gifts for the cruise.
We're planning to be at the Meet & Greet on boarding day. From there we'll wing it. As far as onboard activities go I think a Palo brunch will be about it far what requires preplanning. We do not drink so Tequila tastings and Mixology is out...
Still following the thread and occasionally posting,
Martin

So far we are hoping to do the mixology (I understand the guy that teaches it is alot of fun). In Grand Cayman we will probably just check out Seven Mile Beach. Cozumel-Everybody loves Rays(we really like it, the people are so friendly there)Costa Maya- Ruins? Not sure yet. And Castaway Cay we do the jet ski adventure. That is it so far!

DCW said:I posted us on the thread a while ago, but then it seemed we may have to reschedule due to DS baseball (even in Oct). Well unfortunately DS had to have Tommy John surgery (pitchers elbow) so he is out for the season. Good news is that we are going to have all the mickey bars he can eat.
are there any others traveling with older teens? ds will be 17, he turns 18 day after we get home.
Also does anyone have experience with the 18-21 year olds on DCL? we are looking at a graduation cruise 2014 and now can't decide between DCL and the Oasis of the seas.
just over 8 months we are so excited.....![]()
DD will be 17 when we cruise...older 17, her Bday is about two weeks after we disembark. She's kinda sad because she LOVES VIBE & knows it'll be her last time in there...![]()
DCW said:Good to know, yeah DS had the choice of going as a teen or an adult. Did you know that if they turn 18 during the cruise they are booked as an adult and can't use the teen club even if they are 17 for most of the cruise?
Do you have any tr's? looking for more tips
