Well, I awoke this morning and we are not going to the Birthday party for sure. I'm having some more problems. (Ladies, I'm sure you'll understand it) Not going to post it so I do not scare the men off...LOL!!!!!!!! So needless to say I will be resting again today...

Hmm today? Well if it's not too cold we'd like to take the kids sledding. DH got a new facer and has been itching to take it down a hill. If it is still way too cold, we'll just go do more shopping LOL

It's been 4 days already? Umm I mean 4 days tomorrow. Time has flown by, maybe not for you but for us LOL. He will be home before you know it.
So what kind of treats are you making and are you sending out care packages? I'm just saying if you are baking homemade cookies......

This only started when we bought this router but it's been a year and it is getting worse by the day. It works fine for a wired router, aka DS's computer but wireless it is useless. We bought the new one last night

Morning all!

We used to have horrible problems with our router, so I bought a new one. Still had problems, turns out it was my cable signal. The cable guy changed some stuff outside the house and now it works great. Of course now I have an extra router LOL.

Oohhhhhhhhhhhh Garth, that would be so awesome!!!! Seen him once, would love to see him again. So would my son, he was too young then, but loves him now.

My dd and are going to a concert tonight also, not Garth, but Martina McBride. She is sooooooooooo excited. Two days ago I got an e-mail offer for $20 for all remaning upper deck tickets. Normally I would'nt buy upper deck, but we got the 4th row two sections back from the stage, and heck, it's Martina it's all about hearing her more than seeing her well. I wanted to buy her tickets when they went on sale for dd's birthday, but I just didn't have the money for $60 each plus fees, but for $20, I can manage! Now if only we could avoid those Ticketmaster fees............

I'm not sure about the cable signal because we have DSL
I got the first router off a coworker, it wasn't old, just had a history of disconnecting with cable so he bought a DLink. We never had any problems and used it for about 2 years then the wireless part died. I replaced it with the same brand. At first it was disconnecting once a week and over the last year it got worse and worse. Now somedays it won't work for hours at a time and when it does, it disconnects every 2 minutes. But hey one of our neighbours has an unsecured network and his Belkin never ever falls off line so that's what I bought

Thanks, we will! I have seen Martina twice, but my dd is a relatively new Martina fan and she has been wishing so badly to be able to see her. Who needs Hannah LOL. Although next weekend is the Hannah movie, so she'll be excited for that too.

On another note, my 14 year old DS, who does not have many friends, and never goes anywhere because he's not real social, went to a movie last night without us. With a GIRL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then they went to Dairy Queen. Oh my goodness, I thought I had a couple years before this happened. She has been one of his few buddies for the last 3 years, so she isn't a new girl, but lately she's been calling a lot on sending him text. DH picked them up and said he could see him through the window at DQ before he knew he was there and they were talking up up a storm and had big smiles on their faces.

I am now officially old!

I can not tell you how many 4 letter words were uttered, grunted and screamed in my office until we got the darn thing working again!!!!!!!!!!!!
