well we had our neighbours boys in our pool pretty much all afternoon after we got back from the party LOL
5 kids in there today and I was in there too but just standing so I could watch Kevin more closely!!!!! they just had a blast in there! so much fun!

No we didn't go in. Tomorrow for sure. I'm not sure what the temp was. I couldn't find the therm. for it. Probably low 70's.

Evening all
We had an awsome day as you may have heard. Our neighbours had a great birthday party theme, all pirate and they had the pirates of the carib music playing. It was all really kewl with the games like pin the tape on the treasure map and walking the plank. They were dressed up too.
After it was over we had all the kids over here so they could give the backyard and deck a good once over from the party. I took off to get some fresh chicken for the barbeque for supper, marinated in sundried tomato and oregano with some smokey barbeque sauce. Just took the pan from the fridge and put it on the top rack in the que for 30 minutes or so. Sorry but my mouth is still watering....

Oh I have to look for ours. It's in the shed somewhere....I need some water sample sticks, was looking for them today and Nancy informed me we ran out at the end of the summer last year. Yuck but at least the water has only been in the pool 2 days, can't be bad yet.

As long as the kids aren't peeing in it! Do what I do. Tell them your using a special chemical that creates a red circle around them if they pee.

Tomorrow is suppose to be nice as well except for thunderstorm warnings.

Ya but I never fell for that either. How much pee can 5 kids put in a pool anyways I hope I don't get a nasty surprise tomorrow telling me I have to shock it LOL
This has been really good. Up to last year we had the little 8 foot bubble pool but Josh and his friend filled the pool with just the 2 of them. We went up to the 12 foot by 30 inch deep one and it's awsome. It's not too big for them and lots of room for everyone.

Wow I just looked it up on their site. I couldn't do a search on it, came up blank but I dl'd their summer catalog. They have a lot of outdoor wood furniture but I found a cooler on wheels!!! Hello, carryon! LOL
The pool is now 130, we got ours at the end of the season for about 50. I should have bought 2 or 3 of them....

Can I have a little mommy brag?? Got a letter from the middle school today saying my dd has been put in a cluster group for her english class next year. They don't have a talented and gifted program in our school district or advanced classes for most stuff in middle school, so this is their version. They have the cluster kids in the regular class but then they sometimes go elsewhere to work on different types of advanced stuff. Ok, the brag part is here, where it says the placement is strictly based on the results of two standardized tests they do and only the top 20 kids in the grade are put into the program!! Ok, sorry, but I was so proud of that.

OK, all done, back to your regularly scheduled programming.
