We interrupt this thread for a *** Cruise Question ****

Actually two quick ones.

1) A while back, there was a lot of discussion on the board about the dining rotation for the 7-day changing. Some people weren't sure if it was a) permanent and b0 if it would affect the eastern. Do we know any more now? With the reservation window opening soon, I'm starting to think about things like what night to do Palo this trip.

2) I don't recall if I read it here or on another thread, but there was a mention of a very good product for eliminating wrinkles in clothes. I believe it was a Dupont product? Does anybody know what it is called?

I think the dining change was on the western and the repo cruises only...so far. Haven't heard if ours has changed yet. I will ask BIL the TA to find out for us!

Keep trying, and change some of the answers to the questions and you will get different names.

What are the possible Dining Rotation times based on recent cruises?

7 day cruise
APL 5:30 and 8:00
PLA 5:45 and 8:15
LAP 6:00 and 8:30

and for those of you who were thinking of shipping boxes ahead.


Sending packages ahead of time to the ship:
PLEASE follow these instructions carefully!!!!!!


-ONE box per stateroom, no exceptions.

-The package must have the guest full name, ship, sailing date, stateroom number or GTY if you have not been assigned a stateroom number.

-The package also must have a packing slip attached to the outside of the box that details the contents of the package. For prescriptions, a copy of the prescription is sufficient. Your list may or may not be read but it must have one. Write packing slip on the outside of the envelope.

-NO FOODS/DRINKS OF ANY KIND, LIQUOR OF ANY KIND, FIREARMS, ETC.. This may cause the dogs to hit on your box and that would be a bad thing.

- The required size of the cartons you are shipping down have to be about the size of a record storage box 12 inches on a side and should not weigh more than 20 lbs. (This has been asked personally by Dave Adams who is the owner)

Address your package(s) to:

IDS c/o (Ship Name) / Ground Services
Guest Name / Stateroom # (GTY, if you don't know what it is when you send the package)
9001 Marlin Street
Cape Canaveral, FL 32920

In the bottom left corner of the top of the package put the following information:ATTN: HOUSEKEEPING

Packages must arrive by 5:00 PM on Friday for Saturday and Sunday sailings.

Packages must arrive by 5:00 PM on Wednesday for Thursday sailings.

If your box is hit on by the screening dog or chosen for additional screening they will open the list and the box and look through it. They will close it back up and provided nothing bad is in it then it will be in your room as usual later after boarding.

These boxes will be coming on the ship with the crew mail among other things so they may be in the staterooms later then they were before as they are low priority in the scheme of things for Disney.

HANNA!!!!!! CONGRATS!!! I hope your toothfairy is as generous as ours! He just goes WAY over board!!

Gina...GREAT Info! Thanks for searching it out. I am trying to concider sending a package, BUT whatever I send, I would think I would have to send home too. Which means finding a UPS center or Post Office. I don't have anything "disposable" to send...such as diapers/formula/wipes. I'll have to give that some thought. The idea of not schlepping suitcases is great...but getting it all home is another thing!

Downy....Dupont...it all starts with a D right? LOL I will bring that, but I have also thought about bringing a small steamer. I just don't know that it will work as well as a iron.

Well, I got the Tiki Hut to the high school. Not without peril. It started to STORM and I mean STORM when I got there. Was met at the back door since we got there late and the buses were up front. Anyway, by the time we were done unloading the truck, I was soaked. I mean, I looked like I just stepped out of the pool!!! Then I was going to go to GameStop, but since I looked like a drowned rat, we came home, I took a shower and got Colton off the bus, THEN went back. Now we are just hanging out. The boys are playing Wii Super Smash Brothers....again. LOL They love this game! Oh, and no, GameStop did not have WiiFit...we asked! I have to be back at the school at 9 to pick up the tent...and the center pieces!

I think I need dessert....what's for snack tonight?

oooh! I don't think I could eat many of those! LOL I think of redhots as a cupcake decor or something! I fixed a bowl of ice cream with magic shell chocolate and magic shell peanut butter!
