Hi everyone, having quite the productive day today. Got a roast in the slow cooker going. I finally found some cornbread mix yesterday. I couldn't find any packages of ranch dressing for Allen's chili so I took a chance and drove a ways away and bingo, they had some. I bought 6 packages. While I was there I found the cornbread mix. Keep in mind this is Canada, the stores don't stock what we want, they stock what they decide we want. So, this is organic cornbread mix. I just love this new age we live in where new aged tree huggers force their opinions on us. What is an organic egg anyways? I think I'll call the President's choice head office and tell them I used an ordinary egg as well as no-name vegetable oil just to hear them freak out. To top it off I had to use a cupcake pan instead of a loaf pan because that's what they decided for us and since I'm not a master chef, I have no idea if it would come out undercooked or burnt. I shouldn't complain at least I finally found a package...LOL
