GOOD MORNING PIRATES!!!

Since we are going to visit my family in Columbus tomorrow, I am going to spend the day today cleaning and doing wash. Also have to get a card for my cousin and get a haircut for Colton and I. Then I can shave Connor's head tonight before bed. I wish Colton still wore his hair that short, but he likes it stylin'! Whatever....LOL

Kristin, you have got to be tired today! BUT I totally undestand taking advantage of getting housework done when the kids are asleep! I used to do that too. That way they were not behind me trying to "help" Or they weren't destroying what I just finished. It feels good to wake up to a clean home anyway!!! I need to do my kitchen and foyer by hand this week. I have been using the swifter wet-jet, but it seems to have left a film/haze on the laminate. If I do it by hand with just vinegar and water, it will look SO much better!

Well, I better get my shower and get the boys up and moving. I am sure we'll have to wait in line for a haircut! I called to make appts with my friend, but she is taking today off, won't be in until Tuesday, and the lady at the salon said she is booked through next week, since she is not working evenings! Which is when I need her! But I understand! She a single Mom raising 3 kids. She wants to be there in the evenins for them!

Sorry, I'm a little slow, but I finally have an idea for that "run" we were talking about the other night.. .. Spring flowers!!!
Here we go....

These are "old growth" iris that I transplanted from my Grandmothers house a few years ago. They have never bloomed like this before! The picture doesn't do them justice. Not sure if you can see them or not, but there is a dozen or so more blooms yet to open just in this group. I have 2 more clusters like this one!

W had the same problem with the swiffer stuff. We got something that doesn't do that. I'll look to see what it is.... It is Orange Glo Hardwood Floor Cleaner.

I will look for it today! Although, just plain ol' vinegar does a good job too! Does this help leave a shine on it? Vinegar won't do that. I think with 4 people and 2 dogs, the floor is taking a beating. Especially, the dogs claws...... I'll look for it! Thanks Allen!

I almost forgot! Your Irises are BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!! we have a few things blooming...the dogwoods and the lilac right now. I am hoping my Crepe Myrtle will be okay. They are starting to green, but we are "maybe" in for another frost this week. I'll have to cover them and my Clematis too.

I'll have to post a picture of Mary's Clematis in the back yard. It is covered with blooms also.

That is the same system that brought us some more April showers this morning. It was 73 degrees when we went to bed last night and it is 57 and falling now. Here is the clematis...
