As I am putting stuff away, I realized I forgot to mention that I got my FE gift today! I had seen them on our truck club weekend, but I am glad I waited! I went to the Parent Teacher Store and it was cheaper! Can't wait! I might actually get another little something, but we'll see......

I bet your yard is beautiful in the spring and summer!!!!!!

It must be nice for all of you living in the north and east having such lush green yards we have to work our tails off keeping ours green because it is so dry and hot out here!!! UGH!!

Usually by mid August our yard is dry as a bone and we have to water daily to keep it green. We have sand for soil and it doesn't hold water at all. My water bill is usually around $250 in the summer to keep it green. And my dh is obsessive about his lawn!!!

I ran a couple errands, then gave up and came home. I couldn't take the wind and the cold anymore. If I were going to prom I would be crying my eyes out!!!!!!!!!!! My yard is almost snow free now, cuz it's 34 LOL, but the wind is unreal, you can't even open the car door cuz it slams shut.

You guys are so on top of things with the FE gifts, I have NO idea what I'll buy yet.

I ended up getting 50...they were 5 for $1. If I have too many, I'll just hand out more then one per family! Like I said, I have another something in mind, but it's more money and not as easy to pack! We'll see......

We have this beautiful weather today, 32 degrees, 40mph winds, snow, and my son just told me it's Prom today at his high school!!!! Ladies can you imagine your big prom day, dress, hair, the works, with that kinda weather???????? Poor girls, I feel terrible for them!

Hey y'all, back from the funeral oops... wedding! I jest..It was a beautiful wedding and nice reception. A friend of ours that Mary has known all her life was the bride. Not a bad drive. First time I have driven Mary's car any distance, about 1.5 hours each way to Clarksville. Plus we went almost to Ft. Campbell after the wedding. It's a Cadillac SRX.....I kinda like it!! 75 and 80 mph on the Interstate, and it's rock solid. May have to drive it more often!!
Have any of you heard there is a movie being made about Billy Graham's younger years. They have been making a lot of the movie here in our Lebanon and down the road in Watertown. They have been shooting in our church, The First Presbyterian Church of Lebanon, the last couple of days. They shot a tent revival scene at the fair grounds. I'll try to find a website about the movie...

Why, are the days always so busy.. My company did not come.. Thank goodness, I'm soo tired....They got tied up in Mass. at a Ball game and would not have been able to get here till about now. The game was running later than planned . The kids were upset but we still had steak, corn, salad, baked potatoe and the shortcake for dessert. So it was nice. I'm already in bed in my P.j.'s....LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
