I turned 40 on Sept 21! My Dad will be 60 on July 22! I had NO problem turning 40, it's when Colton turned 13 that I had trouble! I am NOT old enough to be a parent of a TEENAGER!! Yikes!

As for the kids thread, mine our in bed now, but will be eager to answer tomorrow after school!

That's wild! Our anniv is June 22. It will be 17 years this year.

I'll let the girls know to check the thread tomorrow after school.

They may not be teens yet, but the are sure acting like it! Oh my the DRAMA with the 3 girls.:dance3:

Nancy, he's a good sport for letting show those to the world. Or he's like the rest of guys who just don't give a you know what...:rotfl2: Big hair, oh ya! We listen to a radio station at the cottage called the WOLF out of Peterborough and every sat. night they have the Big Hair Affair where they play tunes from the 80's . lots of David Lee Roth and Dee Snider ...

Hhhmmm, that gives me an idea for a great theme party...
There is a channel on Sirius satellite radio called Hair Nation. It's all 80's hair band music. :rockband: There there is Big 80's, 80's pop music. I like Hair Nation better...:rolleyes1

Which channel is Hair Nation? I'll have to look for it. I hate to even say this....I am really not a fan of 80's music!! I know, I know, don't strike me down! Heck, I graduated in '85! Right in the thick of it! I much rather listen to the 70's! I do listen to Hits 1, but this just trying to keep up with what my kids are listening to! I have to admit, most of it is pretty good!!! I guess I like the 70's better because that is what MY parents always had on the radio! They didn't listen to 80's music!

I know, and i frequent them both quite often. Between channel 100 in the morning, and 6,7,8,9 and 14 to 24 the rest of the day. I love my Sirius. I do enjoy the Elvis channel as well.

I can only imagine!!! I have enough drama with my 2!! They are 16 and 18!!!! And they know everything!!!! LOL

Hey everyone! Back from my meeting. It's going to be a Luau theme, so I was saying I think I'll need to get a new dress for the party, but I have a good excuse since I can use it for the cruise!

Steve called while I was there, he said, Stop by the store and get the doughnuts out of my car! LOL He had to run into Charleston, and since he was passing the Krispy Kreme and the HOT sign was on, he just HAD to stop!! Of course, everyone that heard my conversation was jealous!

My sister and BIL are at the Indians game. As I am watching from the comfort of my home, they are in winter coats, hats, scarves and gloves!! It's only in the 30s there tonight! Bbbrrr.....this is baseball not football!!!

Kristin, I forgot this morning to say how BEAUTIFUL your home is!! We have talked about doing the exact same addition to ours!!

Allen, congrats on not having to have so much done on the family truckster! That's always a good thing!

Candy, CONGRATS on your weight loss!! I could stand to lose about 70 pounds....I know, NOT healthy, but we love food, love to eat, and well, I guess you could say, we're lazy. Sad, but true! I did lose a lot of weight in the years before our wedding. I was a mear 125 pounds when we were married.....2 babies and 15 years of marriage later...I am way over! HOWEVER, I do think a lot of it IS hereditary! I saw my relatives this weekend! We are all cut from the same cloth!

Nancy, GOOD LUCK on your wieght challenge! I'm right behind you! (Sucking up your leftovers! :rotfl: )

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: thanks Michele!!!!!!! why don't you join us too? it would be fun!!!

We have Sirius too. The stocks fund our fun to certain extent. We were dating in the 80's.... Alice Cooper, Judas Priest, Twisted Sister, Ozzy, Kicks, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Autgraph...

Awww the Guy Liner!

We think Hair Nation is either 32 or 23.

I like the 70s music better too!!!!! I graduated in 84, I think it was because of my older sisters!!!

I am the oldest in my family, but my parents are only 19 years older and my uncle is only 9 years older. He was more like a brother, so his music influenced me alot!

Get outta town!!!!! That's my birthday too! How freaky is that. I have never in 39 years met anyone with the same birthday as me.

Very cool!

Just googled July 22. Famous people born that day include Alex Trebec, Danny Glover, Don Henley, Willwm Dafoe andDavid Spade. John Dillenger died on July 22.

Snap! (That's the word our daughter uses instead of cr$%)

We waited tooo long to make our hotel reservations. We are flying in October 8th and need three nights.

Our only options now are:

Studio at AKL

One Bedroom at SSR

One Bedroom at OKW

Advice, opinions, and suggestions greatly appreciated. We haven't stayed at any of these properties, but will be staying at SSR in - let's see - 10 days!!

So excited, so excited, so excited!

What a great idea!!!! You could join us Michele!!!!!

There you go again Nancy, being a smart woman again!!!!:rotfl2:

But who would clean up all the plates??

I'll have to think about it...it's such a comitment! and, and, there's TWO DOZEN Krispie Kremes in my kitchen!!!!!!!!! I'd have to "dispose" of them first!

I would like to speak for the group and ask Nancy to pack Dennis's pink thong speedo just because...... Because I'll have my camera, and that will make for good posting material for when return home...:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
