It's 2 hours of shopping and then 4 hours of touring the island. You have to read all the white area, with the red highlights. My friend said that the banana daquari is to die for! I'll take 2 please! LOL

hhmm let me discuss it with DH!!!! we just might do that!!!!

I went ahead and booked Godfrey for my family. Have him pick us up at 10! I think it will be so fun! Who wants to join us!

Wow, you are way on top of things!!! I wonder how many people it seats? It's too early for me to make that decision I think, my family hasn't discussed tours at all.

I have one other worry with these tours, I worry that the driving may be a little erratic for the motion sickness prone. I know it's probably irrational, but I worry about it. For this reason, I wonder if renting a car is the best idea for us??

:lmao: :lmao: LOL that's too funny...could it be his charm?? LOL

My mom has known Bruce since I was ten years old. They just love him. Even my brother says they love him more than they love us...Their own children....LOL!!!!!!!!! My dad thinks of Bruce as one of his best friends and Bruce thinks of him that way too. They will do anything for Bruce if he asks.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The way I see it.....friends who are very dear to us, LOVE using Godfrey. They have cruised several times. Almost to the point where they are "bored" with the Caribbean and are looking towards new ports! I trust thier opinion deeply. If they were at ALL uncomfortable with the tour, I would have heard about it. Nothing was mentioned about the driving, but I can ask them! Also, IF, for whatever reason, we decide to do something different, I'll just cancel! He's cash only and you pay when you get OFF the tour...not before! How's that for trustworthy? My friend did say, the only time they were a bit worried was when they were dropped off at the beach. Godfrey left and took other's back to the ship. But he was back, promptly when he promised! I think Godfrey has a good thing going, and he knows it. He's not about to mess it up!

His website says....
Shopping from 10 -12 noon.
Then....
"Hi, my name is Godfrey, and I would love to give you a historical St. Thomas island tour. Click on the links on the left to see some of the places you will see on our tour of St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands. The places we visit on the tour that you will be able to see are Bluebeard's Castle, Blackbeard's Castle, Hassel Island, Water Island and St. Croix, which is forty (40) miles away from St. Thomas. We will travel up the mountain in the high area to see the hotel and condominiums. We will make a stop on the western side of the island where you can see Vieques, Culebra, Puerto Rico and the Cyril E. King Airport.

We will take you to the highest point, One Thousand Five Hundred Forty-seven (1,547) feet above sea level, which is called the mountain top. It is three (3) times higher than Paradise Point Sky Ride. This area has a beautiful shopping mall and restaurant where they serve the world's most famous Bannana Daiquiri. Over looking the Atlantic Ocean from the Mountain Top, you will be able to see Magens Bay beach, which ranked as one of the top ten (10) beaches in the world. You will also be able to see our sister island of St. John which is two (2) miles away from St. Thomas and the British Virgin Islands, which consists of Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Jost Van **** and Anegada. On the way down from the Mountain Top, you will see the Botanical Garden of St. Peter Great House.

We will make a stop at Sir Francis Drake's seat, overlooking Magens Bay Beach. All those who wish to swim, snorkel, jet ski, parasail or spend time at Coral World, will have two (2) hours at Magens Bay, Coki Point, Sapphire Beach or Coral World and return back to the ship at 4:00 p.m. ship time. Most people are not going to swim. They will have 10 - 15 minutes to walk along the beach, soak their feet, get a beautiful picture of the beach and continue the tour towards the golf course. See our elementary and high schools, rich neighborhood, poor neighborhood and have them back to the ship at 2:00 p.m. ship time.

We will head back to the beach and Coral World to pick up everyone after two (2) hours of fun and continue the tour towards the golf course, see our elementary and high schools, rich neighborhoods poor neighborhoods and have everyone back to the ship at 4:00 p.m. ship time. On our Historical Tour of the island, we don't just drive, we have ten (10) stops."

I wasn't worried about Godfrey in particular, more the large vehicles and the designs/condtion of the roads. Maybe you could ask them how the driving is? I worry about this for my dd everywhere, including the Disney busses, which is one reason we don't do ME at WDW LOL. She has this tendency to get car sick, or close to it, on every trip from WDW back to the airport. It sucks.

I will ask! My friend that I went shopping with on Tuesday, her kids get carsick too. On the way home, her son, age 6, warned us, grabbed a bag and puked! Of course, we were like 2 miles from my house too! I UNDERSTAND! I'll call her tomorrow!
