Joke of the day
At a southern university, students in the psychology program were attending their first class on emotional extremes.

"Just to establish some parameters," said the professor to the student from Arkansas, "what is the opposite of joy?"

"Sadness," said the student.

"And the opposite of depression?" he asked of the young lady from Oklahoma.

"Elation," she said.

"And you sir," he said to the young man from Texas, "what about the opposite of woe?"

The Texan replied, "Sir, I believe that would be 'giddy up' ."

:rotfl: :rotfl2: :woohoo: :cheer2: :rolleyes1 :lmao:

That's cute!!!!

I just got back from grocery shopping, YUCK! Now I think I have to go outside and pick up, um, dog "stuff", now that the snow is melting it all surfaces.

Bruce loves going there. I think he is headed there today actually!!!!!!!!LOL!!!!!!!!!!
We had a waste of time day. Started by going to the recreational centre to find out skating is done for the season, no skating left, they are finishing up the houseleague hockey then taking the ice off the pads this week.
So...we left, stopped at Timmie's on the way to Rona. As it turns out they didn't have what we were looking for so we bought nothing. SO much for collecting air miles today. We went back to Home Depot. All we wanted was a clothes rod to hang winter clothes. Well, we ended up with 5 shelves and the clothes rod, 125 bucks later, Nancy's putting the final coat of paint and we'll put up the shelves tonight, then I can get started on the floor.

:scared1: oooh I hate doing this too!!!!! a whole winter worth of dog stuff...at least I have a few weeks left before I have to do this too and I'm not looking forward to it:eek:

Oh lord! My 2 dogs togther weigh about 20 pounds, but holy cow a whole winters worth is a ton! It took me an hour and a half and two bags, ewwwww. And I still can't get to some of it, because there is still snow in some parts of the yard.

Back from the Home Show. Now to make dinner....tatertots, hot rolls and steaks on the grill. YUMM!

Of course, we had to stop and HomeDepot on the way home. It was actually to get a few hinges for one of the carnival games, but we looked at counters there too. I think, if we do this, we'll do granite. Gosh is it PERTY! It was the same cost as the Silestone. I need to do some research on it though. Silestone was better on resisting stains while Granite was more durable against dropped pans. Honestly, I am a clutz, so I am thinking Granite would be better. I am pretty quick to wipe up spills.

Anyway, we'll be back later after we eat, cleanup and get the kids to bed! We've all got to get up early tomorrow! No more sleeping in! BUMMER! I could get used to this!

Michele,
We have granite, and I love it!!!!!! I have not had a stain yet, but my granite is a dark green color.....so even if there were any stains I can't see any!!LOL
Not to mention all the beautiful designs on the granite!!!!!

Pretty good list you have going. I was going to burn off a few CD's but figured I may as well just plop what I have into a few folders and be done with it. I'm not sue I'll be getting any more songs, my library is big enough as it is and while I am sorting through the songs I'm actually deleting a bunch and freeing up some serious hard drive space.

Evening All..

This afternoon the kids played outside in the dirt piles in our yard they pretended that they were digging for dinosaur bones..It was too cute...

It was kind of warm out too!!!!!!!!
