Elgerber asked how old my DD's will be at cruise time... 11, almost 10, almost 8.... It's the odd year,,, 11, 9 & 7 yrs old. All girls. That's what DH wanted. I always say, be careful what you pray for - you might get it... And Get It... And GET IT

And yes, I'd love to get together & intro. Anyone have plans for DISers to get together on board?

DD11 loves Tink & Pirates (esp. Elizabeth Swan)
DD9 loves Minnie & Stitch
DD7 thinks she's Cinderella. That one's definitely gonna require a prince some day... When she's 30 of course!

Anyway, we're an ecclectic bunch.

And we love food too.
We grow most of our own food organically. We can about 1000 qts a year. So yes, DH & I are on diets before the cruise!
We love to eat at Disney restaurants.

We are cruise rookies. I am sure they will be able to accomodate my Celiac disease & food allergies, just like on land at WDW.

Wow!!!! That's a lot of canning!!!!! I have only canned pears, tomatoes, apple butter, strawberrry jam, peaches, and apple pie filling.
I would love to grow my own food.....just no room out here!!!
It must be wonderful to do that!!

Hi!!! as far as getting all together we haven't really made any plans yet but we did talk about possibly meeting up at some point during the first day of the cruise!

If it is....I think I figured we could try to get the PLLAPLA. They said that pirate night is on the fifth night and formal night is on the second night.....that would put us in Lumiers for formal and Parrot Cay for pirate!!!
I think that what we wanted!!

Are you aware there is a form you might want to fill out for special diets and medical requirements so they will have what you need on the ship? You will want to speak with the Head Server your first night so they are clear on your special requirements.

You won't be long. With your Disney experience, you are half way there. And with everyones past experience here, you won't have any problems. You'll be a vet before you get on the ship!!

We are going to pay off the balance tomorrow I wanted to buy the air right away but the airlines are going into bankrupty. Oh wait, that would mean I'm out of a job...Hmm anyone want to hire me??

We can all have a great first time experience together!!!

It would be more fun, but I'm not going to stress either. We'll have lot's of fun anyway!!!

I did fill out a form & give it to the AAA travel agent. They are supposed to fax it to DCL. Maybe I should back it up w/my own. And that's a great tip - I will talk to Head Server. I sure like how you have the same staff at every meal. Going over dietary stuff at every meal is a drudgery.

The thing I am overwhelmed w/is picking excursions to suit a 65yr old non-swimmer, 7yr old so-so swimmer, plus 9yr & 11 yr old dipper ducks. And DH & I will have just turned the big 4-0 right before the cruise!

I want to snorkel. What's the best place for that on the Eastern Carib? Something easy to mid level in difficulty to suit most of us...?

I've been to WDW but it was so long ago, Epcot was being built. I hope I like the cruise ship experience, biggest boat I've ever been on is 14 feet.

OK I have to know. I won't hit the big 4-0 until 5 or 6 months after the cruise, details are not important here does your DH still have hair? I just want to know what my future holds
