He has alot of health issues!!
He's had a triple bi-pass, he has COPD, he goes to kidney dialasis 3 times a week,and he is on oxygen!! Poor guy!!

He is 76 years old!!!
He was a heavy smoker for most of his life, and a lot of the health problems he has is from his smoking.

Good morning all!

I love Idol, but Paula is a nut job! Finally last night we finally had a few really good performances, this season has been a snooze.

I am not getting an addition, but this basement thing is tough. We have to select a couch before he can finish the family room, because the placement of the couch determines the placement of the TV and all the wiring. We thought we had one, but now we have found some other ones we like better (and can't afford LOL), and they layout different than the other one. So we are now back to square one and it takes hours everytime we go to the darn store.

Big boy, getting ready for school!!! I won't share my sons first day of Kindergarten with parents prepping for the first day for their kids LOL.

The family room hasn't even been started yet. We can't start until we pick a couch, so we can place the speakers in the walls and celings and put all the wiring right. We were looking at sectionals, but now we are looking at home theater seating. By the time we pick a couch and a stand (dh was looking at custom tv stands last night) we'll be back to having 3 car payments LOL.

oh those look great!!!!! but I think I like the top one better, nicer design on the back cushion....I wish our basement was big enough for one of those though!!!

It is frustrating isnt it. My dad was also a smoker, he died at age 60 from pulmonary fibrosis. He was a doctor too, and SHOULD have known better...

Does he have to use bipap at night too? We were amazed at how much better Sean's lungs were once we started him on that (per a sleep study showing he had apnea).

Very pretty! I think I like the bottom one better though... LOL! Looks like it has more lower back support (which in my young/old age is SO important! LOL!) Good luck deciding!

Morning all

It's a snow day here......Yeh!

But my question is, when will the snow ever stop coming down. We probably have close to 9 inches so far today. All the school buses were cancelled, but poor Maggie wasn't very happy cause I drove her to school.
We'll I need to go out and snow blow the driveway. But look forward to possibly do some DIS'n today.

The babies are sleeping so I am sneeking on for a few minutes!

Connor is fine and is going to live! If you didn't know to LOOK for the tooth repair, you would not even know it's there. Thankfully.

Colton, on the other hand, is a mess! We finally got him fully recovered from the flu and the lingering cough, and at 330 this morning, he started, shall we say, with stomach distress? The bleach bottle and I are becoming fast friends! I think I may have to put it in a squirt bottle and carry it in a holster on my hip!

I left you all on page 23 the other day...now we are close to 63. I AM going to go back and read it all...and take notes along the way! I hate that I have missed so much!

I better go check on the babies...it's almost TOO quiet in the house!

I'll catch up later tonight!!

I'm glad the tooth has been fixed!!! My son had someone throw a rock at the bus stop once, and hit his tooth. It chipped the bottom a little bit, but the dentist said just to leave it. When the sun hit's it just right you can see a crack through the tooth, dentist says all is fine.

Ewwwwwwwwwwww, so sorry about Colton though, that is so not fun!!!!
