It went very well. But they are in the heart of construction right now.. THey are all inside my bedroom.. I think I'm going to loose my mindd!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Take a deep breath, make some tea, and go as far away as you can from the construction for a while! OH, and if you have any chocolates, take them with you!

Construction is a PAIN (we had a bunch done when we still lived in Calif MANY years ago) and I understand how frustrating it can be!

It must be so very rewarding for him to see his finished work in his own home. What type of things has he done?? He sounds very talented. I think you told me once he was working on your basement? Is that correct??

Yep, still is!!! He does it all, except roofing. He finished the basement in our last house. He's done multiple decks. A screen porch on our current house, plumbing, electrical, you name it. But the basement is coming sloooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwlyyyyyyyyy. He built storage beds for both of our kids too.

that must be a bit weird to have people walking around your house and especially your bedroom !!!

Jelly beans are good too... what flavor is your favorite? When we lived in San Jose our favorite field trip for school was to the Jelly Belly factory... LOL! Juicy Pear and watermelon I think were the best. Still are!

I think its a good thing we joined up here after the chocolate exchange! LOL! Chocolate is probably my biggest weakness, and i am TRYING to hit a lower size before we go so I can get a few new items of clothing...

That's how it was here too!!!!!
Randy and DBIL decided to do most of the work themselves.....that's why it took over 2 years to complete!!!
But after it was finished...........WOW......I was very pleased with it......and even now, 3 years later I still talk about certain things in this house I love!!!

So Kristin, just think about how wonderful the finished product will be when you're getting frustrated......just keep telling youself "the more they are here working, the quicker it will be finished!"
Just remember, every pounding and banging noise you hear is one nail closer to having it done!!

I remember the lowest point of our remodel (other than my broken ankle) was when we had the wettest winter on record, and we didn't have a roof over our heads (literally) only the ceiling and tarps. It was so windy too, and the wind kept blowing the tarps off the roof, and people who were trying to help us tie the tarps back down, in the rain, in the middle of the night......a couple of them stepped through and put holes in our ceiling, then we ended up having water damage in the house.............Randy came in and said..."This house is going to end up killing me!"
It was awful!!!!

I love Jelly Bellies...They are my favorite....!!!!!!!
