it took 2 weeks for it to go away, but I was sick for 3 weeks with a cold!!! longest month I ever went through LOL

I just took some cough med. too it is yucky this year. Seems, like no one can "shake" it......

I'm worried I gave Hanna to much cough meds. It said 3/4 and I gave one teaspoon think it is ok??? She is wide awake still says she is not tired...LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do I wish they did not have school... My parents are there now just spoke with my mother and she said they had wicked storms tonight!!!!!!!!!

My snowbird wannabe parents have been visiting my actual snowbird aunt and uncle in Arcadia and coming home tomorrow. I hope they had fun

It was the cough meds. from the Dr. I knew you would know Michele. I was not even thinking they were both nagging @ me while I was pouring it. Think it will matter!!!!!!!

Tusso-C Syrup. She is six years old not sure of the exact weight 42 pounds maybe or so......

Steve said he has actually never heard of that med...but he thinks it's a generic for Robitussin-C. If that is the case, it won't make a difference and she should be just fine! I hope that helped.

okay, we just googled it...it's the same as Robitussin- AC...the codeine in it will make her sleepy, but you didn't give her SO much more that it would make a noticable difference. If you had given her a Tablespoon instead of a Teaspoon, then it would, but that little bit, she should be just fine!

Thanks, That is all it said on the bottle. It says becareful with alcohol will cause drowsiness with alcohol, and to drink with extra water...YOu would think I gave it to Bruce is he sacked out...!!!!!!!!!!Thank, Steve for me!!!!!!!!!

Bruce, just woke up from his "nap" and got up put a pair of shorts on I asked him where he was going he said to play the WII!!!!!!!!!

Kristin, Sometimes medication has a reverse affect on kids. Even though MOST kids it will cause drowsyness and others it can cause hyperactiveness. Like, most kids can take sudafed and it causes them to be hyper, but a few kids will take it and pass out. With her, codeine might actually make her hyped when MOST kids it will cause to be sleepy! Sometimes it's just trial and error and keeping notes so you'll know next time. and Steve says Your Welcome!
