Morning all! Just getting ready to go the cotttage. So I'm saying hello and goodbye until tomorrow. I was all ready post last night and we had a power failure from 5PM untl about 2 am.. What a drag the first opportunity I've had in a long time to sit at the computer.

I can't wait! Tomorrow I am headed down to the Mall of America to look for some formal wear. DH has decided that he and DS 11 1/2 are doing tuxedos this year. We have talked about that many times, so I am very excited. However, I need a couple of cocktail dresses that I can wear on formal, semi-formal nights and to Palo. Typically DH has worn a suit and I do a dress, but nothing over the top.

Fun!!!!! The time will start going really quickly now.

I decided to do the tux this year... mostly because it saves weight in my suitcase!!! All I have to do is take my shoes!!!

I wish that I could talk DH into renting the tux but he isnt all for that kind of dressing up He says that he prefers to just where his suit and tie and jacket...He has worn tux's quite a bit though being in a lot of weddings and such...but I still think he looks nice in a suit but a tux would be a nice change

Reminds me...I need to try on my dresses to make sure they still fit just fine for the cruise

QUESTION: How are you guys carrying your dresses/suits on the ship? In luggage or in a Garment bag and if its in a Garment bag to you give that to them and count it as your luggage as well? We will only have like 1 large suitcase for all three of us, and possibly the dufflebag full of FE Gifts (which we may or may not carry on...possibly not since it will be so big and probably a little bit heavy

I havn't quite figured out how to carry our dress up clothes on board... but I am sure I will eventually! LOL! I will probably pack them in a suitcase that will not be touched until we load it onto the ship, since we are going to be on the road for a few weeks prior to the cruise In which case they very well may need to be pressed... oh well!

Fun fun FUN!!! Brian has no interest in a tux either, though Kaj DOES! He loves to dress up fancy... LOL! Too funny! Will have to see if Kaj can guilt him into it by insisting that HE have one too. Let's see, what night is Formal night again????

I was thinking about chartering a float plane over to the BVI while in St. Thomas. I don't think they go over during the week on regular flights, anyone had any experience hopping over during the week?

We are home now!!!!! And it is so hot in this house.....waiting for the AC to cool things down!!!
We came home a day early because Meagan is sick....she has a sore throat and body aches and last night she had a fever of 103!!!!!!
So we just decided to drive all the way home instead of staying somewhere at the halfway point!!!!

We came home a day early because Meagan is sick....she has a sore throat and body aches and last night she had a fever of 103!!!!!!
So we just decided to drive all the way home instead of staying somewhere at the halfway point!!!!

Welcome home! It sure is true that it's fun to go places, but it sure is nice to come home.

My day was great. Yesterday was my birthday, so my Ex-hubby and Merkie took me out to eat for lunch. We had a great time. I've just done laundry all evening. That's the normal thing for Saturday.

I'm glad to see that you made it home safely. Hopefully Meagan will feel better soon.

Sean and I are spending the evening playing Wii sports with each other... I beat him at bowling and golf, he beat me at tennis and baseball! Now he is BOXING>>>>> watch out world! LOL! Brian is off picking up dinner at Baja Fresh... yummmyy!!!
