October 11-18, 2008 Disney Magic Parrothead Pirates in Paradise Chapter 9!

Hi guys! Today is my Step-daughter's 18th birthday! She is going to Bowling Green State University in 2 weeks. We have been getting all the things she needs for her dorm room. Her mother hasn't been to much of a help, so her father and I have been doing most if not all! She was the one I had asked your opinions about adding her to the cruise and after I got your feed back and talking with her, we decided to wait until she has a year in college before we attempt it. We will do disney in the summer though.

Ok, I've been trying to catch up on the thread. What have I missed? Is someone coming up with a schedule of events or was that just "pre-discusion" or "in the works"?

I have a question about the group photo...Are we having the ship people take the photos or are we responsible for taking our camera to get photos??? Just curious I can work either way Just being nosy

Just a question- Anyone else delivering their FE Gifts on Saturday or am I the only one? Just curious to see if anyone else was and if so WHEN do you plan on delivering your gifts to everyone? Im just worried about time frame here. We have late dinner which will be good but with all of the day activities Im trying to figure out when to squeeze in delivering the gifts to the rooms. I dont want to go too early cause everyone may not have their FE out for us...and not too late since I have a lil guy who may tire out (YEA RIGHT)

I have Saturday as well-and face the same dilemna. I have late seating as well. May do it after dinner. I will be on the ship early, but I know others won't and I want to make sure everyone has their FE up. I may assemble mine on the ship since I plan on boarding at 11:00 or 11:30 when they let us on. I have to try to change late seating and I have a spa treatment at 1:00. Usually I've been lucky and my luggage arrived early so I can unpack everything before sail away. I may divide the list and have DH go with a DS to deliver some. So, I may doing it after dinner.

We can do it either way. If we find someone to take the picture, it won't be as expensive... Then if we have them do it, it will be done, and you don't have to buy it, if you don't want to.

I don't think it's classified when we are doing FE's is it?? I like to do mine late at night. So should I do it the night before, or the night of???

Hello all!!!

I am off to Walmart to get a few things. We are going to Ohio on Saturday for a family reunion at Steve's Uncle's House. It's in Circleville, Julie, so I won't be near Cleveland...this time! But anyway, If I go shopping tonight, then when I get off work tomorrow, I can do the baking and dicing that I need to do while I wait for the cable company to come and install our landline phone before we head to football again. I am running out of time to do things!!!

I'm a lurker, well more like a reader of the thread... i've been reading more than participating, not because I don't want to, just really haven't had the opportunity to join in as much ...
West Coast time/FT job + bus. travel/fam responsibilities... like most i'm sure... love the threads, love DCL and am enjoying reading at least 2 x p/wk... more if I can squeeze them in ..

I was going over the last few pages of the thread... Thanks to everyone for including me in the FE list. Didn't finish all the pages ...did we decide we were including something for every family member (especially children) on the FE list?
I have been registering kids for school and doing PTA room parent things, and just wasn't able to check in last night. Having surgery last week wasn't in my end of the summer plans but I think I'm just about caught up

Took the kids today with a friend and her kids to paint pottery and then out to lunch too. Then went to my cousin's B-day Party!!!!!!!!!

Busy day here!!!!!!!

Michele, if you want maybe we can come up with a Parrothead in Pirates Navigator listing the times etc. then email it out before hand so everyone can print it before the cruise. This can list FE days for people who are participating and meets, etc...Just a thought???

crazy busy day here... had my MRI, and going to the doc tomorrow to get results (hmmm.... the results were in her hand within a few hours of the test, makes ME nervous when I was told it would be 3-4 days!)

Sean may have a UTI (ouch!!! waiting on cultures for that) and our cat has some kind of liver issue going on! AND Brian has some kind of intestinal bug... ewwww....

Calgon, take me AWAY!!!! I wish! Can we go on the cruise NOW instead of in October please???

Hello Lyndee!! I'm so glad you are able to join us on the for FE exchange!!!!
I think it's going to be up to each individual who they are buying for. Some are getting a family gift, some are getting for each member of the family. We are getting a family gift and a couple of little things for the kids!! I hope this helps!!
