Good Morning everyone!

I just wanted to pop in and say hello to everyone. Merkie and I are off to TN to shop during the sales tax holiday. I realize how silly this is. With the gas prices, we will have to spend $1000.00 to save anything, and we won't. Oh well, we do need to buy some things and we just as well get them without paying sales tax.

Shauna, I too, know the fear and anxiety you are going through with Chris! Colton has had 2 sets of ear tubes and his adnoids removed. The second time wasn't any easier then the first, but he did fine both times! I will be sending good vibes, pixie dust and prayers your way on Wednesday!!!

Kristin, interesting video. have to show that to Steve. Although, that guy had it wrong! LOL You get TWO meals and a snack everyday! He made it sound like WDW is trying to starve you on vacation! LOL How did the girls like the ball game? Sounds like you and Mom had a great night out! VERY nice!!!!

Gina, how did you score tickets?? That is so great! I'll never forget our breakfast at the Castle. Colton and Connor were 4 and 6 and Jasmine was there. BOTH of them stood there staring at her like she was a godess, mouths hanging open and couldn't think of a thing to say! LOL Steve and I STILL laugh about it to this day! They did better when they got to Ariel's grotto! When does LM3 come to theaters??

Alex, one day, while at the mall with my friend, I had Andrew with me, the little guy I babysit for. He was maybe 18 months old and I let him out of the stroller to toddle around while my friend was trying on clothes. This woman came flying out of the dressing room and about bowled him over. She steadied him and said, "Oh sorry little guy. Here, over here is your granny." I about flipped! I walked over and picked him up and said, "I am his Nanny, his sitter, his au pair, but I am NOT his Granny" She stumbled over her words, apologized and walked away embarrased!! My friend had came out during this altercation and just stood there with her mouth open. The she started laughing and said, "Way to give her "what for" there, Granny" Smarty pants......


We bought our park tickets for October the other night. Have to see how much WDW raises them now. If we didn't have the cruise coming up, I would have bought a longer stay ticket and saved it for our next trip, which technically, would be this summer, but Steve hasn't mentioned what we are doing! I know the lady I sit for is leaving June 5 for her vacation, so we could do something then.......we'll see!!!

Connor threw a fit last night and didn't want to go to football. He was just exhausted. The first week is the hardest. But once we got there, he was fine and actually said he had a good time! I've taken photos of his bruises, I'll have to show you all!!

And, no, Connor is not "into" girls. Right now, he just wants to be friends with everyone...boys or girls. My boys have never seen girls as icky or gross, or for that matter, Hot! LOL They have grown up in a neighborhood with both boys and girls that all play together, which is nice.

Well, I better get busy! the boys are still asleep and this house needs tending to. We also have to check on the neigbor's dog as they are gone for the day, and get a birthday gift for the little guy I babysit for He's going to turn 2 this week and today is his party!

I'm back! No shopping trip today. When I got to Merkie's Dad's to pick her up, she wasn't feeling well. She said she's just really tired. Her stepbrother's girlfriend is having a garage sale there today and she wanted to just sleep in and then help Christy. We decided to switcht the shopping trip to next weekend and maybe go down Friday and stay over night. We'll have to pay sales tax, but oh well.

It is Pigeon Forge that we were going to. Merkie loves the outlet stores. I scrapebook, and there is the biggest scrapebook store that I have ever been to there.

Another cruise question:

Anyone have any experience with changing their dining rotation onboard the ship. We usually get early seating, but have late now. I don't know how my kids and parents will handle that. My kids are usually in bed by 8:30. Just didn't know how successful I would be.

We were given late when we booked and asked to be put on the waiting list for the early seating. We got it maybe a month later. We were ready to fill out the medical request form, since my wife has reflux and cannot eat that late.

Hey Everyone!!

Just stopping in to say hi before I start out on our shopping trip...I gotta buy some more hotwheels cars for DS. He is potty training (hasnt peed in his diaper/pull up for two days, going on his third today) and the cars are his bribe gift for going potty He gets to pick one for going pee and two for poop. Yea they are about 99 cents a car, but I was desperate to get him interested in going...well its working so well that I need to get more cars...or transfer him to cars only when he poops...cause he only pees in the potty right now

Thank you so much also for telling your experience, It does make it less stressful for me to hear others that have been thru similiar experiences and got thru just fine Ouch poor guy with ear tubes, I should have had them put in my ears when I was younger. I almost had my right ear close up completely, it was BAD. And I always have and still have to this day Bad earaches all of the time. Forget swimming, I always wind up with earaches after I swim cause water dont drain out properly thanks for hte pixie dust and prayers and good vibes

My hubby keeps telling me that I need a 12 step program because I am on here every free second that I get. Although he loves the info that I have learned from here (especially when it comes to the cruise!) he wouldn't have known where to start on excursions let alone door magnets or fish extenders He and I have a bet going on (I know I'm winning this one) He says that no one on the cruise will have those fish extenders that I keep talking about...I told him that I know for a fact at least 20 people will have them (since I am participating in the FE Exchange) And he owes me $25 if there are ANY hanging up. I told him that I kinda feel bad that I know for a fact he is going to loose this one, but not bad enough to NOT take his money

Well I better go for now, Hubby keeps asking me if I am ready to go I will talk to you all more later.

I know I've done three "tax free" for back to school trips to stores in the last two days, and I mainly bought things I would have scrutinized on the cost more (such as some clothes my DD12 picked out), but it does "feel" like you are getting bargains! I think I've saved probably $75 from not paying taxes.

At least DH's end-of-season bathing trunks were CHEAP at Target at around $8 a pair!

Hello Shauna and Kristin!

I just checked in to say Hi to anyone who was here. Our shopping got put off because Merkie wasn't feeling well and now I'm not feeling well either. I've laid around most of the day. Her Daddy dropped her off to me about an hour ago and she hasn't moved off the couch.
