Has anyone else booked the Doubloon Snorkel excursion in St. Thomas. I just booked that one for us (the afternoon snorkel) as I thought the water would be too cold in the early morning. Anyone got any great excursion ideas?

We are doing that excursion in the afternoon! I did a post on it on the main board and got great responses. Everyone seems to love it. We were booked for the morning one and changed it to afternoon. That was part of our thought too. Do we want to throw our faces in cold water that early in the morning. Plus you get free pirate rum punch..would feel weird partaking in the morning.

I am soo looking forward to the Doubloon Snorkel excursion in St. Thomas.

We have a 10 pick up time as well... My guys are not THAT much into shopping, but I figure they will have to put up with me. Poor boys... LOL!

Exactly. I mean, I will have to suffer when I watch Kaj go parasailing on CC..... trust me, I WILL be suffering (I hate heights!). So they may as well suffer a little bit too... LOL!

this is taken from his website....there's not a choice of beaches, it sounds like Coral World and Coki are right at the same location....

We will make a stop at Sir Francis Drake's seat, overlooking Magens Bay Beach. All those who wish to swim, snorkel, jet ski, parasail or spend time at Coral World, will have two (2) hours at Magens Bay, Coki Point, Sapphire Beach or Coral World and return back to the ship at 4:00 p.m. ship time

Okay, I just looked at Godfrey's again..tour 1 is the tour that takes you from shopping to all over the island to see all the different sites, ending at Coral World and the beach. Tour 2 takes you from shopping right to the beach for 3 hours and no other stops. I am doing tour 1 starting at 10am.

we were going to book a tour for St. Maartin but now we're leaning more on renting a car for the day and driving ourselves and stopping whenever LOL

Well, I picked a great night to get back on and chat. Getting some of these things started is getting me excited about the cruise. I am taking Monday off work and we are going shopping. It's a combination school shopping/cruise shopping trip. I figure this will be our last chance to pick up things like swimsuits, coverup, etc. that are more summer items. We are also going to look for dresses for formal night. Planning is half the fun!!!!

We have early dining. Does anyone else have the same? If so, has anyone discussed linking our dining so that we can sit together. Our last cruise we were stuck with very unpleasant tablemates.

I'd be shocked if there weren't openings this early. Now in a few weeks maybe not. Better safe than sorry though.

we just decided that we wanted more freedom to explore at our own pace. and if we wanted to go back to the ship early we could!!
