GREAT to see you again! I wouldn't bother to try and catch up! There are just way too many pages. We don't have anything set in stone yet, but once we do, I am sure it will be on the other webpage. A few of us have planned to do tours on St Thomas and St Maarten that are not DCL sponsored. St Thomas is with www.godfreytoursvi.com and St Maarten is with www.bernardstours.com Both are very resonable and I have only read good things about them! We are doing the Fish Extender gift exchange and Nancy is keeping track of who is going to participate in that. We are going to do the Tag Your It! If you want to do that, let me know! I am STILL waiting to hear back from my friend on shirts. He was suppose to send me the designs, but he hasn't. Soon as I hear from him, I'll post them! We have talked about meets on board....in the terminal waiting to board, deck 7 for a photo op and deck 10 for the sailaway or in the Promanade lounge if it's raining. But it's not going to rain, we're going on a cruise!!!!!

What are the details of the tour, and is it too late for us to join. I have been a little concerned about DD and me going off by ourselves on the islands. I have booked some of the Disney excursions, but I can cancel if we can join the group. I definitely want in on the activities. What are the "Fish
Extender gift exhange" and "Tag Your It"? I don't know how to play, but I want to. Do I need to sent a private message to Nancy or what? We will definitely wants shirts also. Sounds like you guys have been busy planning a lot of activities. It sounds great.

Hi! I was beginning to think that I scared everyone off. I'm not sure how to play the fish extender and tag game, but I am up for both. Everything else sounds like fun to. Do I need to register anywhere to be included for any of these things, or so I need to get money to anyone to for anything? On our last cruise, someone had those little plastic bracelets made with our theme and and cruise date on them and we all sent her the money to pay for them. Do we need to do this for the fish or tag game or anything else?

I'm sorry that I haven't been around and now I have so many questions!

The Godfrey tours were recommended by a friend of mine. She and her DH have been on his tour several times. I think we are on tour 1 with him? I think he picks us up about 10am. The Bernard Tours was recommended on CruiseCritic.com. There was not one bad review for him. The way I see it, they do these tours EVERY day. This is thier business. Most of thier business is probably from word of mouth. They are not going to get us back to the ship late. Matter of fact, I think both tours gets us back to the ship at least an hour or more before we set sail. That's plenty of wiggle room in my book. As far as taking a small child, only you know what your son can tolerate. I am a kid person, I babysit for a family of 4, so if he gets restless or talkative, you won't hear a Shush from me!! Our son Connor is ADD, so I know the trials of trying to keep a little guys attention and keeping him quiet!! That said, Come Along!! It'll be fun!!

For the Fish Extender gift exchange, all who have signed up get fish extenders to to hang and gifts to put in eveyone elses FE's. Pinkygirl is in charge of the list. The deadline to sign up is Aug. 1. When you sign up with Nancy (pinkygirl), you can pick a day to deliver your FE gifts, or she can assign you a day. I hope this makes sense.

As for tag, I asked Michele the same question, and this was how she explained it!!

I'll take names of those that want to play. On the back of the magnetic sign, 2 if we have a huge turn out, I'll list the names and cabin numbers and I'll start it by putting it on someone's door the first night. Then that person will look on the back to see who's playing. They will pick someone else to tag. Before tagging someone else, they will mark on the back the date that they were tagged....this way, we will be sure that everyone gets tagged at least once. Once everyone has been tagged, people can tag others a second time, if they want. It's just something fun and could get you to floors on the ship that you might not have gone to see. Like I said, the boys loved to play this. Once we tagged someone on the way to dinner. It doesn't take a lot of time, but it is neat to get back to your room and see that you were tagged while you were gone. Let me know what you all think!!!

Connor is watching the Hannah Montana concert....so Colton and I are sort of watching/listening. I think Connor just watches this stuff so he can keep up with conversations that girls have! Makes him sound knowlegable! LOL Colton could really care less!!

Thank you so very much for the encouragement Yea my lil guy is quite the talkative one and it is extremely difficult if not NEAR impossible to keep him quiet. (he gets it from my hubbys side of the family) Yea DH came in and was saying that he was scared to book away from disney but I read him your post and I think he is slowly changing his mind I have to weigh in my DS though and see if he could do an all day excursion like that...He hates staying any place for too long and not sure how the tour will be, although I would love to go on the tour to see the wonderful sites I guess we have to think about this

Ok I have a question for all of you that are booking thru these guys...Which tour/s are you doing??? Im a little apprehensive about booking away from disney but i would feel less stressed if there were a few of us on the same tour

Also we have a 2 1/2 year old and was wondering if the tours would be too much for him Anyone else going on any of these tours with really young ones

Keep in mind that these tours stop and you get off and back on several times. So he's not going to be "stuck on the bus" the whole day. If I were you, I would go to the sites and read them carefully and see how many stops and how long they are. We have never done tours that were not DCL, so this is new to us too, but after our friends told us we just HAD to do Godfrey's we were a little more sure of going on it. Besides, this is just so much less expensive! Even with the extra out of pocket we might have.

Oh you may have us trailing along with you guys!...We may do that plan as well. I just told my DH about your post and he said "If you want to do that then that is fine" He just doesnt want to be the odd man out with our lil guy...so knowing that there is another family like ours then he is all for going I need to go on and book thru them We are definantly in it for Coral world as well

Just to add, on the back of the "tag you're it" sign, when we did it last time, we had each name and cabin number of who was "playing tag" and you just marked next to the person/family you tagged the day/date you tagged them so everyone got tagged once, but if I remember right, we got everyone tagged twice!!!
