Hey everyone, Im sorry to post here if this isnt to be posted here but I am just curious as to what "Parrothead Pirates in Paradise" Is? Because I am excited to say that I will be sailing with you guys on the Magic in October and would love to see some fellow DIS'ERS I hope that I am not bothering anyone posting here but just wanted to say Hey!

You are in the perfect place!! Parrotthead's (with 2 t's) are usually big Jimmy Buffett fans, the Pirates in Paradise is a reference to the Disney Pirates in the Caribbean movies, and the Caribbean is simply Paradise!! Most of us are Buffett fans, all of us are Disney Pirate fans and we are going to Paradise!! That's where the name came from! But don't worry about all of that, just jump in and join us!! You will find that most of us are nice, and the ones that aren't we just ignore.... Just kidding, everyone here is friendly, just jump in and join us. We have a web site and a cruise list going. If you are interested in the website and the cruise list, send me an email (link in my signature below) and I will send you the url to the web site. Quick question... may have been asked before but with this crew finding the answer could be difficult!

Anyway... Brian's boss and his BOSSES boss are worried about running into a problem at work that ONLY Brian can handle (which could be a truly devastating thing, AND could cost him his job!). SO... we need a phone number on ship that they can reach him at. Isn't there some kind of emergency phone # that they could call? We don't want them to just call his cell, making him check it frequently, and if they have to call the ship and go through hoops to get him, they will ONLY call if they HAVE to, you know?

Help please!

Let me get this straight. Brian is the only one with the expertise to handle a problem, but they would fire him if the problem arose? And what happens if it does and they do? Who handles it then? Sounds like the bosses have a mismanagement issue if they never though of training a back up for such a critical person.


And what are they going to do if the problem can't be resolved over the phone? Send the Coast Guard?

I like Jimmy Buffett...cant help but like him being so close to the Florida Keys , DEFINANTLY a Disney Pirates fan...gotta love Captn Jack Sparrow!! Hope it is okay for me to post here, have been lurking for a few weeks now. We are booked for this cruise and wanted to say hello. You are all a busy group it seems, not sure how active I will be as I will be 5 months pregnant with twins at the time of the cruise. We are looking forward to a little R&R and lots of fun for our children too. Hope to get to know all of you better.

the advice was about the walkie talkies and keeping up with teens we have made reservation for brunch at palo we did high tea my dh looked kind of goofy drinking tea in pretty little cups and finger sandwiches. we had dinner at palo last time it was our anniversary. we swam with the dlophin last cruise 600.00 to stand and tickle a dolphins belly for 30 min. just didn't seem worth it.. we will spend the day in St martin this time shopping, i didn't have enough time last time and do alot of spa treatments. we will stay on the boat for St Thomas/john i didn't like it much last time rude people to much hustling to american, don't yell ,i am american and proud just some aspects are a little rude.

I would, however, love to talk with people who have two sets of multiples or even higher order multiples. Since we have been through the twin thing already, I am kind of anxious of what it will be like to have four kids. I have heard two sets of multiples or higher order multiples to be very different than a set ot twins. Anyone here that has experienced this, I would love all advice and encouragement. Again, thank you. I am happy to be here and hope to be a part of your fun group.

We do not have twins, but I have a friend who has twin girls in college, a middle school daughter, and 4 year old twins - all 5 are girls and even their dog is a girl! The poor daddy in a house with 6 girls counting the mom!




He's such a wonderful man, though! They sure stay busy, but it is a good kind of busy.
