Shauna, Glad to hear you are settling into your new place!! We had a German Shepherd when I was growing up. He was THE best dog we ever had!! Good luck!

Gail, sounds like you have a good start to your shopping and have some good plans in the works! Have fun!!

Well, football is officially over, we lost tonight. The team we played has not lost a game this year. They played just dirty. It was really horrible the way they played. They had a TON of penalties!! I think we gained 200 yards in penalties...although, we didn't get to use those to our advantage. They even hurt 3 of our guys, putting one out of the game. After the game, Connor said the one boy just got out of Juvenial Detention, his second time. Once for carrying a concealed loaded weapon and once for stealing a car!! These kids are 11 and 12 years old!!!!!! Then, when I was talking to another Mom after the game, she said that to her knowlege, the coaches go to juvie, recruit these kids and tell them if they play football for them, then they can attend their school!! So, who known HOW many kids are delinquent on this team!!!! The parents are no better, yelling at the refs, the coaches, the kids. Ugh. Go sit down!! LOL the one lady got so mad, she called someone on her cell phone and was ranting about the refs and said, "I'm gonna find out which car he's driving!" Just ugly.

After the game we went to dinner with another family that we have met through football. REALLY sweet couple and they too, have 2 boys, and everyone gets along well. I told them tonight, we'll have to plan to have the boys come over and the adults can go out alone!

Well, we are all cold, full and tired, so off to bed we go!!!! See you tomorrow!!!

It just amazes me how horrible people can be!!! Sorry you all had to endure that!!!
