It's a 2 month cycle, water, power, sewer!!

We pay about $150 electric and $150 water each month in the summer too, but then winter sets in and it's the gas heating bill takes over!

Long story short, I finally got my Christmas shopping starting. We have two more shopping trips planned to. Saturday, Nov. 15th is Merkie's birthday. The cruise we went on was what she wanted instead of a party and birthday presents, but she asked if we could go to Lexington shopping that day so she would have some fun fon her birthday. So we are doing that next weekend. Then the first Friday and Saturday of December, a group of the ladies from church are all going to Pigeon Forge, TN to shop. I should be able to get everything on those two trips.

It's hard to believe that it's time to do Christmas shopping already.

The first Friday in December is Gatlinburg's annual Christmas parade. It's held at night and is very neat to watch, but you have to get a spot early on the sidelines. Having said that, Pigeon Forge will be crazy, but a good crazy. I'll be going up the second week in December for a conference, and am hoping to get some shopping done at the same time. Hope your hand is doing better. Oh, make sure you go by The Inn at the Christmas Place in Pigeon Forge..... the clock is great. http://www.innatchristmasplace.com

OK you are all killing me! We are staying right where we are. Our utility bills are peanuts compared to what you all pay. Hydro and water run us about 100 per month.
