It's Monday!! Oh, no, wait, it's WEDNESDAY!! Whooo Hoo!!

Elections are over, I hope you are happy with the results! I am so happy there won't be ANY more political commercials and they can't pull the signs up out of the yards soon enough!

NO football tonight!! YIPPEE!!!! I can come home, don my jammies and not do a blessed thing tonight!

Has anyone heard from Shauna? Did they get moved in? Are the internet connected?

Up in the 70's again today!!! It was in the 70s the last few days, so upstairs, we turned on the A/C again...but that was fruitless as it isn't working!! AAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! This is just rediculous!!!!

I am off to take care of the babies!!

Morning all!!! And I second that comment, NO MORE COMMERCIALS!!!!!!!!!!! Of course our stupid senate race is up for automatic recount, so we still have to deal with Al Franken AND Norm Coleman.

It's 62 here right now, unheard of at 6:30 am in November (or even October), but I can see lot's of lightening. The big storms are coming tomorrow.

I have so much work to do around here today. Laundry is just piled high and waiting to be put away. UGH!!!!!!!!

Jennifer came home early, so I got to come home early! Already have my bed stripped and in the wash! Hopefully, I can get the boys done today too!

Erika, stay safe in the storms!! We should get that on Friday and Saturday.

I have a question for you all...... As far as laundry goes..... After you wash clothes, who puts them away? Do you put everyone's away or does everyone put their own away? I used to do it all, but since I started working, I have asked that everyone put their own away. The boys are good about it, BUT, the biggest kid in my house, Steve, just leaves them hang in the laundry room and sit in the basket at the foot of the bed. I know he is just waiting for me to say enough is enough, but guess what? I ain't doing it! Just curious!!

I am the worst about putting away laundry LOL. My Steve does his own laundry, so his is not an issue. With the kids, I will sort them into a basket for each of them, I fold the stuff that gets folded as it comes out to keep wrinkles down, undies and socks just get tossed in the basket and hanging stuff gets laid on top of the basket. Then they have to put it away themselves. Mine on the other hand, LOL, I don't dry most of my stuff, so it hangs to dry, then it tends to stay there until I wear it...

Kaj has been doing his own since he was... 8, 9 yrs old? He doesn't LIKE it, and we have to NAG him sometimes, but he does do it. Sean I do it, but he helps.. Brian does his own, and I do my own. Works well for us, and I don't have to do much that way!!!

Ha ha ha, do thier own wash! I can't hardly get them to get all their clothes in the basket! I am done with chasing down loose pieces of clothes...ie: socks left by the couch and underbritches in the bathroom! If it's not there, it doesn't get washed! Colton is learning VERY quickly!! He asked me one night, "when are you going to do wash again?" I said, "I dunno, I just did it last night" He said, "oh" I said, "what do you need" Knowing full well, what he needed. He said, "I don't have any more clean underwear" Well, there's the washer, have at it! He's getting better about getting them to the basket now!! Now, if I could just get my DH to put HIS away!!

OMG Michele. That's funny. I've been doing my luandry from the time i could reach the controls. When my mom figured out we were tall enough we started doing our own laundry. Pretty soon we were doing her laundry too

No lie i swear..... I did it from i don't even remember how young I was right up until I broke my ankle, only then did i get out of doing laundry for a legnth of time. Broke a toe and I think i got out of doing 1 load of laundry. But in my house we each do our own laundry unless someone has something that really needs to be washed and the other person has a load ready. we also put away our own stuff when we get around to it.

Oh laundry how funny today I put three huge baskets away. I must say this is the worst chore that I hate doing. My mom did our laundry till the day I moved out. She did not put it away for us but she was the mom who drove to see my brothers football games while he was in college and took his dirty laundry and then brought it back to him clean the next week football uniform and all. Mom if you should read this I am soo greatfull for all of the laundry you did for us. I now appreciate you more than ever. Heck, my mom has even come over here and done my laundry when I've been sick. Gosh, what a good mom I have.
But that aside, I do sometimes ask my kids to put their clothes away but at this age their drawers end up very messy when I ask them to put the stuff away. It is more like stuffing it into the drawers.LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got back from a VERY boring school meeting it was about the new report card. It is rainy and warm here today such weird weather we are having here.....!!!!!!!
