October 11-18, 2008 Disney Magic Parrothead Pirates in Paradise Chapter 14

We've been thinking about it!!! We are just trying to figure out what category we are getting!! LOL

We went nuts over booking on deck 7 and after seeing Erika's room I kind of felt gipped even though we had nicer deck furniture. Oh sorry, veranduh LOL. We've changed rooms 3 times already. We had one close to the elevators then changed and found out we had a connecting room so Carol swapped it again and we are happy with this one.

I have an email in to Carol, just waiting to see what she has to say!! I am still a little leary about Colton missing school and Connor missing football.....BUT what is more important then family time, right? I mean, had we not taken the last cruise, and had not gone to Nassau, we wouldn't have ever learned what Junkanoo! is! No fun learning that in a classroom!

LOL, this is true! I think a lot of us were on the same breakfast schedule, I know we ran into Alex and Michelle, Denis and Nancy, Alec and Gina, and RanCan's pretty much every day at Topsiders! Except the one day we screwed up and went to Parrot Cay.

Yep that's what an extra 400 bucks gets you, mesh lawn chairs instead of plastic LMAO.
There's a thread of what side of the boat is better and I'm at a loss. You had all the island views and we had the port views but when we sailed past St.Thomas I guess we all viewed it as we were on deck 9....

Junkanoo is a Bahamian tradition. They celebrate their african american heritage on Christmas Night at Midnight. Thanks to Wikipedia...here is the full story! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Junkanoo It was probably the most intersting part of the tour that day. The boys have talked about it several times!!!

Just come to Philly for New Years Nancy I swear we stole it from the Bahamas.

Remember where you were sitting in the festival place when I saw you? You were looking at all the masks and stuff they use for a New Year's celebration.
