Hello! Merkie and I both ended up at the doctor today. He put us both on antibiotics. I knew I'd end up sick after standing in the rain at the party. But, to be honest, we actually had fun "playing in the rain".

Merkie and I miss you guys so much. Merkie has asked several times if I have talked to you guys yet. I told her that everyone on here is just trying to get settled back into a schedule and haven't really been as chatty as we were. She is sitting her and asked me to say "Hello!" for her to.

I'm wishing I had rebooked now. Oh well!

Gail- How are you feeling today? Chris still has the bad cough and my throat is still sore and I feel like it is a choking cough...but it was worth it

Great pictures everyone. I am still at my moms but I am leaving today...not going to get any less busy for me. We are moving as much as we can this weekend...so I need to get home to pack, pack, pack....and then bust my rear end to get everything moved in Im going to need a vacation after all of this

I will upload my pics and post them when I can. Not sure when that will be but I will try to do it within the next few weeks

My stomach is killing me today and I guess I better go and get changed...Im procrastinating on getting things done I miss the ship...and I miss you guys

Booking on board and early makes a big difference. We booked a cat. 6 for $1100 less than we paid for the cat.7 on this cruise.

We booked the next Western, departing on October 30th. Halloween time should be a fun time to cruise, plus my birthday falls out during that cruise. We didn't want to do the 16th, because I would just have been off from work for the Jewish holidays (we were closed the whole week we were on the Magic, which is why the timing was so good this time). Also, I thought the 30th was the first Western after the Magic returned from Europe, but obviously I'm wrong.

At the Golden Mickeys 9:30 show, a nice older gentleman stopped me as we were walking up the aisle to tell me he had taken quite a few good shots of DD4 Rachel on stage with Snow White. Just wondering if anyone knows an older gentleman with high-end camera equip that might be this guy??

I gave him my e-mail address, but he might not have been able to read my chicken scratch.

Looking for that missing needle in the haystack, huh!

I just got back from WalMart and they do not have them I even asked and they told me not yet... I will pay you for them if you do not mind getting me a pair???!!!!!!!!!!

Allen's Chili:

2 lbs Ground Beef or Turkey

1 large onion chopped

2- 10 oz cans diced Rotel Tomatoes & Chili's Original (drained)

2- 28 oz cans Hunts diced tomatoes

1- 16oz can black or dark red kidney beans (drained)

1- 16oz can hot chili beans

2- 1loz cans shoepeg corn (drained)

2 pks dry Ranch dressing (original)

2 pks taco seasoning (mild or hot to taste)

1- 14.5 oz can tomato sauce

1- small can tomato paste

Add another can of tomato sauce for more liquid

if desired

Chili powder to taste



I Brown my meat and onion at the same time.

I also make mine late at night, put it in a crock pot

and let it cook all night. In the AM, I unplug and store

the crock pot in the insulated carrier and let it sit all

day. It remains warm all day. Then re-heat and serve.

We ordered our Christmas cards on the ship and brought them home. Matter of fact, we waited until Friday night to order them. We were going to see about a photo on the beach, but since Colton was sick, he never went to the beach and we took turns taking Connor so Colton wasn't going to be alone on board. I really never thought of ordering them once we got home, but I didn't think the prices were bad either.
