Hi all! Sorry I sort of deserted you all there! I was looking at websites for Hilton Head Island. I am thinking I am going to have to take a lot of books and board games. Do they call them board games because you play them when you are bored?? Hhmmm....

Anyway....

I think Maureen's point was that Thanksgiving is usually the kick off to the Christmas Season and since Canadian Thanksgiving is celebrated in October, they must start celebrating Christmas earlier then we traditionally do. Although, I have to say, I saw Christmas commercials before the cruise...sooo.....

Nancy and Denis, I must have missed what is going on at school. I hope you can get it resolved!!!! I still have my little situation on hand. Seems the buck is being passed and no one is taking care of it! Grrrr.....

We are strongly concidering driving to WDW in June. Between air going up and then we'd have to have a rental since we fly into Sanford, it's just cheaper!

I am off to bed so I can be rested and ready to deal with the ankle biters!

You know what we loved driving down to the cruise. It isn't really ah hard drive, though 95 is kinda boring.

we looked into that, but we would have to drive to it in VA, and we could be futher south by then, and it ends up adding time and money to the trip. Just easier to keep on driving south!

Looks like fun. Seems like those things are all over the place now. They have Ducks in Philly too, I haven't doen them though.

we did it last year in Seattle, had a lot of fun! The drive was a riot... had a great sense of humor and I would highly reccomend it.

I think a good sense of humor is required when driving 1 of those. I'm not sure if the ones in Philly are just as big or smaller though

Hello everyone. I haven't posted for a few day. I have been playing catch up at the office since I finally got the brace off my hand and can type again. I still have a little pain in the hand and if I over do use it it swells on me, but I'm just glad I can use it again.

Kristin.....thanks for Carol's contact info. I have not e-mailed her yet because I have been so busy, but hopefully I'll get a chance to do it tomorrow. I am fairly sure that I will go ahead and book it.

I'm off to bed. I have to get up 30 minutes earlier tomorrow because Merkie wants me to straighten her hair before school, and her hair is so thick and it takes so long.

Good Morning!

I'm off for a busy day. I have a busy morning at the office. Then I'm off to pick up Merkie's birthday cake and deliver it to the school by 1:30. This morning her best friend's mom called and said that Emily woke up sick, so she would not be at school or at the sleepover that they were planning to go to tonight. So now Merkie doesn't want to go to the sleepover so I promised her that we would do what ever she wants tonight. I see bowling in my future.

Anybody here ever used or own a Leapfrog Clickstart computer? My sister wants me to pick 1 up for Christmas for my neice. Looks good, but is it really?

She's just shy of 4yo. so she needs learning games i think. have no objection to the price. I can get an awesome deal at work. Just wondering if its really good.

I missed it too. I got a 3 day weekedn so i have time
