You know what we loved driving down to the cruise. It isn't really ah hard drive, though 95 is kinda boring.

well to answer your question, we have the same schedule as you guys do with the only exception that we celebrate Thanksgiving earlier. We don't start planning Christmas sooner because of it.

Good Morning!

I'm off for a busy day. I have a busy morning at the office. Then I'm off to pick up Merkie's birthday cake and deliver it to the school by 1:30. This morning her best friend's mom called and said that Emily woke up sick, so she would not be at school or at the sleepover that they were planning to go to tonight. So now Merkie doesn't want to go to the sleepover so I promised her that we would do what ever she wants tonight. I see bowling in my future.

ok, i don't know why i couldn't explain myself last night. I just kept working myself into a corner with each post LOL.

Anyhow, down here it seems except for the Christmas lights and cords Halloween has pretty much stopped Christmas from being in out store earlier that that.

But I've had ppl ask for Christmas stuff in August. and then proceed to tell me that I'm the only store in town that doesn't have the stuff up.

Umm..no moron, I work here, I don't live here. And I do shop other places.

It hoenstly wouldn't surprise me if 1 day I came in during July to see the Christmas decorations going up. Of course if that happens I'll be giving my 2 week notice and moseying. I like shopping early, but i don't need to see it that early.

Maureen, anything and everything we have bought that carries the Leap Frog, Leapster name has been money well spent. Whoever invented this line of toys was a genius!! I do not hesitate to buy any of thier products!

basically long story cut short here.....we're having issues at our school with the Junior kindergarten teacher being too aggressive towards the children. And we're getting no cooperation from the principle or the superintendent........

Sounds like it's time to get some parent volunteers in the room! Kids LOVE it when Mom and Dad come to school for a visit! Reading stories, working crafts, singing songs. Is this teacher the only one in the class or is there an assistant? What does the other teacher think?

thanks Erika!! I only wish I could get this excited about our Hilton Head trip in December! I did find some info on HHI, so now I just need to plan it first, THEN I can plan the Beach Club. But I have more fun planning WDW trips!!

I forgot to say too, when I called back, he asked again, "Are you celebrating anything special?" I said, "well, we figured out, this will be our 12th Disney Trip. Does it work like a Baker's Dozen? Do I get the next one free?" He just laughed and said, "Well, that would be nice, but I don't have the powers to do that!" Oh well, it was worth a shot? Right?

Nancy, I'm sorry to hear all about the school stuff. I just read the emails, and that is Awfull, poor Kevin that stinks that he has such a bad teacher!!!!!!!

Sounds more like a dictator than a teacher. I would not be happy with that at all.

Hello! I will tell Merkie that you wished her a Happy Birthday.

We had yet another change in plans. After Emily got sick this morning, Merkie decided not to go to the sleepover. At school today, another friend decided she would go, so Merkie changed her mind again. I just dropped both of them off and I will be there tomorrow morning at 7:00 a.m. to pick them up. A friend of mine call and said that they have two extra tickets for the University of Kentucky Lady Cats basketball game at Rupp Arena in Lexington tomorrow at 2:00 so we are coming straight home to let her shower and then making the two hour trip to Lexington to watch the game. Then coming the long way back home so that we can stop in Corbin, KY to watch our local high school boys basketball team play their first game of the season. (Can you tell that we are huge basketball fans?) We won't make it home until 11:00 p.m. or later tomorrow night. She will be absolutely exhausted, but it's what she wanted to do for her birthday.
