Good Evening All!
Just got back from practice. Even though the day was warm, the nights are cold! Still had to bundle up!
Gas came down 10 cents today, to $2.48! I am going to top off tomorrow. I am at a half a tank, but Steve is afraid the gas will go up after tomorrow. I don't think it will until the economy starts settling down. As long as the Dow is volutile, gas will stay down.
Jozee is on cloud nine!! She competed against 60 other 7 and 8 year olds, in 5 different elimination shows and was placed in the top 10!!! She did so well, and I am VERY proud of her! Once they got the top 10, they only gave ribbons to first and second, so the other 8 have no idea where they actually would have placed. She told her Mom this weekend that she wants to compete in the Olympics some day. I am SURE there will be many more competitions in her future!
Kristin, I remember those types of slippers from YEARS ago, but have not seen them since! Unless they can rub my feet and give me a pedicure, I don't see what the big deal is? Of course, I didn't read the whole thread either. Personally, I have the
crocs with the fur inside, and I like them for houseshoes. They keep my feet warm and are a little more "stable" for walking on the hardwood floors. (man, I am sounding more and more like my Mother every day!!!)
Anyone have any special plans for tomorrow since there's no school? I had thought about taking the boys to the movies, but this house has top priority...and of course, we have to be at football at 6!
