Good morning kiddies:wave:

Slept in this morning. Watched Tim Gunn last ngiht and then got sucked into Tabatha's Salon Takeover:rotfl: That was actually pretty good. I got 2 work days left till we leave. And oh its gonna be a busy weekend. TG I'm off:rotfl:

bringing this to the current page!

I think your two best places and times are Castaway cay in front of the character buoys or the atrium on a sea day. You will never get everyone to be available at the same time, so you've got to go with your best guess.

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!

As for taking the photo on Deck 7, the one I posted was taken by one of the DH's on the cruise with us. He set up his camera and took it. We did have one of Disney's photographers take a photo from Topsiders too. I never did see that photo though. I think you had to ask for it and I guess I just forgot?

Maybe we should just ask at Shutters where they recommend. I am SURE we are not the only group to ask for a group shot. Maybe they have some place that they really like or has better lighting?

Another option might be in front of the Walt Disney Theater? Where the Jack Sparrow photos are taken? Would that area be big enough and the lighting sufficient?

Hey there parrotheads...how is everyone doing today???

So far today is going a little better than yesterday..although I am afraid that I am starting to get a kidney or bladder infection :eek: Thankfully it is only in the beginning stage and so I am drinking only water and taking asodopholus (sorry about the spelling) and cranberry pills to make it go away before the cruise...With me doing this it should be gone in a day or so...:thumbsup2 Michelle- I totally feel your pain on the tire issue...Im not sure if you read or not but I also got a flat tire yesterday...some idiot left a rake in the middle of the road and I didnt see it until it was too late...so yes I as well will have to invest money in the tire company :rolleyes:

YAHOO only 8 sleeps left before we cruise...but I leave on Tuesday to go up to my moms and then thursday to Disney :cool1:

PRE-CRUISE INFO:
Just wanted to remind everyone that whomever may be in the Port area wednesday night and would like to go to dinner...please feel free to join us at the Olive Garden in Merritt Island at 7pm :hug: If you are sure you will come please let me know and also let me know how many people will be in your party so that I can let them know at the restaraunt.

Well I am off today to eat some lunch and then head to Wal-Mart to try to find a garment bag that will be safe and secure...and also a few more things for the new place. I will be back on later :grouphug: I hope all is having a good day!! and HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!! :cheer2:

:rotfl2: My NEW NAME IS IN THE SUBJECT.....DON'T LAUGH UNTIL YOU FIND OUT WHAT YOUR NEW NAME IS.

We all need a little stress-reliever! This only takes a minute.

Sometimes when you have a stressful day or week, you need some silliness to break up the day. If we are honest, we have a lot more stressful days than not.

Here is your dose of humor...

A. Follow the instructions to find your new name.

B. Once you have your new name, put it in the subject box and forward it to friends and family & co-workers.

Don't forget to forward it back to the person who sent it to you
so they know you participated.

The following is excerpted from a children's book, Captain Underpants And the Perilous Plot Professor Poopypants, by Dave Pilkey, in which the evil Professor forces everyone to assume new names...

So:-

1. Use the third letter of your first name to determine your New first name:

a = snickle
b = doombah
c = goober
d = cheesey
e = crusty
f = greasy
g = dumbo
h = farcus
i = dorky
j = doofus
k = funky
l = ****ie
m = sleezy
n = slo opy
o = fluffy
p = stinky
q = slimy
r = dorfus
s = snooty
t = tootsie
u = dipsy
v = sneezy
w = liver
x = skippy
y = dinky
z = zippy

2. Use the second letter of your last name to determine the first half of your new last name:

a = dippin
b = feather
c = batty
d = burger
e = chicken
f = barffy
g = lizard
h = waffle
i = farkle
j = monkey
k = flippin
l = fricken
m = bubble
n = rhino
o = potty
p = hamster
q = buckle
r = gizzard
s = lickin
t = snickle
u = chuckle
v = pickle
w = hubble
x = dingle
y = gorilla
z = girdle

3. Use the third letter of your last name to determine the second half of your new last name:
a = butt
b = ****
c = face
d = nose
e = hump
f = breath
g = pants
h = shorts
i = lips
j = honker
k = head
l = tush
m = chunks
n = dunkin
o = brains
p = biscuits
q = toes
r = doodle
s = fanny
t = sniffer
u = sprinkles
v = frack
w = squirt
x = humperdinck
y = hiney
z = juice

Thus, for example, George W. Bush's new name is: Fluffy Chucklefanny.

Now when you SEND THIS ON...use your new name as the subject.

And remember that children laugh an average of 146 times a day; adults laugh an average of 4 times a day.

Goober ChuckleDunkin Checkin' In!!

I REALLY need to do my cleaning tonight. Then we'll pack tomorrow and Sunday....after Connor is acolyte at church and we go to the football and then we work the concession stand! Sheesh! Pack it all in before the trip!

Connor's science teacher is letting him off pretty easy! He has to find a science topic on board and write a report about it, including a few photos, and she'll give him credit for it! This is Connor's subject of choice! He always gets high marks. Maybe we can find a CM to help us too....like the engine room, or the kitchen, or the pools area, or how they get fresh water on the ship. LOL Or maybe he can find out about how the toilets work and what they do with the waste! :lmao: THAT is right up his alley!!! :lmao:

Okay guys, we have to get off Chapter 13. First Michelle's tire. Now today something feel from a truck in front of me and broke my windshield. Insurance will pay, but it can't be done by Tueday, which is when we are leaving. The windshield isn't broken all the way out, but everyone seems to think that it wouldn't be safe for me to drive with it, at least not all the way to Florida. So now I have to make some quick decisions. Do I try to get tickets and fly? Do I rent a vehicle to drive? Merkie's Dad offered to let me take his truck, but it's a huge Dodge Ram with two full seat. Take about $100 to fill it up and gets virtually no gas mileage. A beautiful truck, but with gas prices like they are, I'd have to take out a loan to drive it to Florida and back. I hate chapter 13!!!!!!!!

Hello all!!!!

This is Sloopy Pottynose talkin!!!!!!! :lmao:

That is too funny Mary Margaret!!!!!

I hope everyone is having a great day!!!!

Oh no Gail!!!! I hope things work out for you!!!! Tickets might be really expensive, especially so close to leaving!! I'm thinking renting a car might be the best choice!!! I'm sure whatever you decide will be the right decision!!!

I was thinking the same thing. I keep saying that I am going to buy a second car so that I will have something to drive in emergencies, but I always talk myself out of it.

Did you look into flying out of Huntington on Allegiant? You would have to rent a car in Sanford to the port, but it might be an option...drive to Huntington, Fly to Sanford, rent a car to the port. Just a thought!!!

Gail, I pulled up the site....if you fly out on the 7th, it's $159, on the 9th it's now $214! Coming back on the 19th it's $129, but if you can wait til the 21st it's $29!!

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!

As for taking the photo on Deck 7, the one I posted was taken by one of the DH's on the cruise with us.

I have to catch up on the thread, but where on deck 7? The secret deck? Is there room there? Otherwise, deck 7 is all staterooms.

Sandy, Yes, SD7. it's pretty big out there. I think it would work...as long as whoever takes the photo has the wide lens, or can go up to Topsiders and take the photo down.
