Just wanted to pop in before I headed off to my shower and then to bed...

Now I have a question...I like braunswagger (or however you spell it) and I like chicken liver (if cooked right) but What exactly does SPAM taste like??? Anything in comparison to either of those or anything at all you could say was close in flavor???? I think I had spam before but I am not sure...maybe when I was little My dad said he used to eat it before...He didnt say if it was good or not but he teases and says that SPAM stands for "STUFF POSING AS MEAT" So that may mean that he doesnt like it

Ok I have a CRUISE QUESTION: How many suitcases are everyone bringing for the cruise??? There is only three of us traveling and so I would like to try to get away with the least amount...Usually I only bring a big suitcase with us and maybe a dufflebag or two...But what kills me this time is the FE gifts...I guess I could ship them but I still have our costumes and I shoes and dress clothes (not a big shoe person so I will probably have only 2 pair to bring (not including the pair of tennis shoes I will be wearing onto the ship.

I guess I can possibly get it down to maybe our 1 big suitcase, 1 dufflebag and then 1 garment bag...anyone bring just a garment bag or do you put your suits/dresses into the luggage with the rest of your clothes

Anyhoo...I managed to get 3 boxes packed Still have TONS to go but we also have a month to work on getting the house packed up. We are starting with the biggest rooms first (Kitchen and living room) Then we will move onto Chris room and then ours (ours really only has our clothes and bed stuff) nothing major.

I better go...gotta wake up early for us to go and sign the contract for the new rental house And I still have to take my shower.

On our last cruise, I took a garment bag with our formal dresses in it. This cruise, we are not planning on eating in the restaurants, so we are taking what would be semi-formal dresses for formal night, just so that we can get some photos taken. Anyway, we won't need a garment bag.

There are other lines doing this now. We have seen it on the Travel Channel, but have never really seriously looked into pricing, etc.

Oh, I'm sure not. Nothing about Hawaii is cheap. Have you ever been there? I have checked into a land vacation in Hawaii. It's so expensive that I've been able to bring myself to do it. It's like Europe. I am definitely going, but I'm going to let Merkie get old enough to enjoy everything that it has to offer because it will be a one time thing for us.

This can be a hard question. I had a co-worker ask me once what peanuts taste like, he's alergic. I thought for a while and decided sunflower seeds were fairly close...
The only thing I can tell anyone is to buy a tin and try it for yourself. Even my DW likes it but in very moderation. I like it for breakfast on week-ends. If you do a wikipedia search it gives the history. Basically it's pork. Ham was added to it years later. Hmm ham and pork. Isn't that like saying beef and steak? Anyways it's very salty. If you like bacon, it probably will do fine thinly sliced and fried.
Can I gross everyone out? Once you open the tin, you don't have to refrigerate it. And, a sealed can can last almost forever. Both these scare the bejesus out of me....

We are bringing 6 bags for the 4 of us!!! 1 suitcase each, a garment bag, and a bathroom bag!!
