I had to have the parent teacher talk today with Maggie's grade 7 teacher regarding her missing a week of school. Maggie's a lucky lady, for her teacher doesn't want to give her much home work, only a few math work sheets and some reading. She'd rather see Mag enjoy her vacation. Boy was Maggie excited...

oh that's great!!!!!!!!!!! it's nice to have teachers who understand that vacations are important!!!!!!!!!!!!

How are ya?!?!?!? Been to the eye doc today for a check up. He dilates my eyes every time I go in that place!! I don't mind that so much, it's that light that is a son of the sun that he sticks in them after!!!!! My eyes are changing though, for the first time since 2005, I'm getting a little more oldsighted.....I mean farsighted!!!

ah man!!!!! I know all about that stuff......I didn't like it at all last time I had it done! came out of there in the bright sun and I could not see a thing!!!!!!!!!!
doing good, kinda bored with Denis being gone tonight......he's away on a business trip until wednesday...

It is. Merkie's principal and three of her teachers have been great about it. One teacher wasn't real happy, but she really couldn't say much because the school district gave Merkie an education enhancement oppotunity excuse for all the days she will miss. That means that the teachers have to allow her to make up all work and can not punish her in any way for going.
