I must say, the corned beef I made was SO GOOD!!! it's a 3-4 pound corned beef, coated with brown sugar. Drizzle with a bottle of Guiness, being sure to not disturb the brown sugar. Then pour the rest around. I cooked it in the crockpot on low for 8 hours. It was just falling apart tender. I ate so much I am STUFFED!! But now I think we need brownies! LOL

I just made us a treat tonight for just the 3 of us....crepes with blueberries, raspberries and bananas! and I am stuffed too LOL

I think so. They have to drive pass the house I sit at to get to my house, and then drive right pass it to get out of the neighborhood! If it came UPS, then he knows me and knows I sit there. He even stops to give my dogs treats if I am out walking them when he comes through! LOL I'll make a note for the FedEx and leave it on the door in the morning!!

The crepes sound SO GOOD! Although, everytime I hear "crepes" I always think of the movie Talledega Nights. That movie is a classic! I love it! Colton came home with a ring tone of the boys saying some of thier more memorable sayings...."I'm all jacked up on mountain dew"

They'll leave a note on the door with a place for you to sign. Then you sign it and leave it on the door. It gives them permission to leave the documents and they have your siggy too! I figure if I leave a note on my door that I am just 5 houses up the street, they would rather bring them to me then to make another trip the next day.

I made the mistake of telling the kids all about Fish Extenders on Friday not knowing that there is a deadline to participate in that (which makes complete sense as I know you have to count numbers and start shopping at some point!).

I know… big OOOPS… on my part. Anyways the kids were all excited and wanted to make one so off we went on Saturday to Michaels and Fabricland and they came up with a design and pretty much finished most of it on Saturday night. It wasn’t until I saw the website yesterday that I found out about the deadline!

I know that we are too late to join the existing Fish Extender Gift Exchange, but if there are any other families on this cruise that also missed the deadline and would like to exchange with us (do the “Fish Extender Thing” ), let me know.

No worries if there aren’t any other new families to do a “fish extender gift exchange" with - the kids had fun making it and I will just add a new twist and use it to put surprises from us into it!

I've also had it where they can't do that, there are mulitple levels, one where you can leave your signature and one where you have to sign in person. I hope it's the first one.

I am full, we had frozen lasagna (I have no time to make it from scratch) and garlic toast, then later tonight it's DQ choc chip cookie dough blizzard cake for Steve's birthday!!! Don't want to see the scale tomorrow LOL!
