We were not in KY at that time - although we came about 2 weeks later to look for houses and there was still snow in huge mounds in parking lots! What a shock to a native CA girl! I have heard horror stories about that storm though.

Oh it was bad. Coming from Cal. for that, I'm surprised you didn't run back west in fear.
