Shauna, that is so COOL that you get to go to WDW THIS WEEKEND!!! WOW! What did you decide to do? Poly? You'll LOVE it! It is our favorite deluxe...so far. LOL We have stayed at the Contemporary and The Polynesian, oh and Animal Kingdom! But the Poly is where we would choose to go back to! I have to say though, we stayed Concierge too. The property is just beautiful!


Remember how I was going on and on about the Halloway House Floor Finish? When my Inlaws were here this weekend, she was talking about my floor. We had a water leak and had the old floor torn out and new put down....this was years ago. She was saying that this floor is SO much more shinier then the other was. LOL I did give away my little secret though! She is talking about getting new floor in her kitchen, but if this would perk it up, she might not! She has vinyl, but it says you can use it on that too! That was, to me, a great testimonial that this stuff is AWESOME!

Time to don my comfy clothes, start laundry and make dinner. Chicken Stir Fry!

Michele, I bet the Halloway stuff would help her floor a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone! Thanks for the well wishes for Merkie. She does not have strep, but she does have a severe head cold. Meds and rest were the orders. She has to miss school again tomorrow. I can't stay home from work, so we are packing an overnight bag and she is going to her Dad's for the night. I did stop by the school to get her assignments so that she won't get behind. She said "Gee thanks Mom!"

I hope everyone else with sick kids got good news at the doctor.

Anyway, she is ready to leave. I'll check in later.

Yup, all alone tonight Bruce is out to a dinner. Want to chat?? I'm going to jump in the shower and then I can call ya??? The kids went to a b-day party this afternoon and then we went to my friends house to play/drop off her son from the party then we came home and they rode their bikes...!!!!!

Hi everyone! I'm back from dropping Merkie off at her Dad's. Thanks for everyone's well wishes.

I'm wishing I had ran through a drive thru. I have no quick fixes in the house and I hate to actually cook for just me. Things were so hectic over the weekend that I didn't make it to the grocery store. My dear ex-hubby dropped off sandwich bread, milk and bottled water yesterday so I decided to just make due with what we have in the house until Saturday and then go to the grocery. Boy, am I regretting that decision.

Okay, who all was going to be at Sarasota Springs before the cruise? We are strongly considering staying there Wed and Thur and then moving over to Radisson on Fri. I just requested a price quote from DU for the rooms and 3 day tickets for us. I saw a code to get the rooms for $94.00 per night, which is less than the Radisson. They had the value resorts at less than $50.00 per night. That's a great deal.

I know. I wish we had. Things got hectic for me and I sort of dropped of the thread for a while. I think I have told everyone about all the illnesses we have in my family right now. My Mom has four siblings with cancer. It's been a rough past ten months or so.

I'm really looking forward to meeting all of you though.

Hey everyone... Well I got the main part of the luggage packed. Now I have to get the bathroom stuff and my pins and such packed. We finally have the details worked out after like 50 different ideas and thoughts I will be flying up with Chris on Monday and we are staying till Sunday at the Poly!! My first time going there...I have always seen it and wanted to go but this will be my first time. I am sure we wont be disapointed!

I am hoping to bring my laptop as well so that I can keep up with everyone

My parents will come and pick us up on sunday and we will probably stay with them a night or two before they bring us home So those are the official plans For now

Your dinner sounds great. I ended up eating two weiners and some left over chili. I don't have any buns.

I may be at Pop with ya. I requested quotes on both. I sort of would prefer to stay at Saratoga Springs, but the two weeks during free dining that I am considering for next Sept., I will stay at Pop. But who knows. I will definitely be moving to the Radisson on Fri. I got that night free through gold points and they will let me leave my car parked there free which will save me $100.00 which is how much it costs to park a vehicle at the port for the week.

Candy---I bet you are counting the second for the girls to be home arnt you? I dont blame you...WOW what a small plane. We had to go on one of those one time (on the way to our honeymoon!!) it was scary! but we survived just fine
