Good Morning All!

Popping in from work! It's a rainy dreary day today and NO ONE wanted to get up this morning!

Shauna, I am glad you told us about your anxiety. I would be the one to rush over and hug you and invaid your space and you wouldn't know what hit you! LOL I will try to control myself! And Please, try to feel comfortable with us. I know that's easier said then done, but even though we haven't met in person, we have talked and know a lot about you!! Would you feel better if some of us called and talked with you on the phone? I have free nationwide calling and would be happy to call you!!! PM me your number if you want!

I better go! Andrew is in melt down mode this morning. He hasn't ate breakfast and is wanting junk food. Hence, the melt downs!! Grrr.....

Let's see... Kaj is still sick (he came home from camp with a nasty cold, and we are TRYING to keep Sean from getting it... sure... sharing a hotel for 2 days and in the same car for 10 hours???)

Sean started complaining of severe EAR pain yesterday afternoon, in both ears... so bad it hurt to talk so he wrote everything down he had to say. In some ways that was kind of nice, as otherwise he is a total chatterbox and talks ALL the time... LOL! And this morning he is SUPPOSED to have a dental cleaning, which for him is a BIG DEAL as until a couple of years ago it meant general anaesthesia as he has a severe oral aversion! It takes a good hour to talk him through it, and takes about 5 minutes just to sort of clean one tooth! Only one person in that office has the patience to work with him... combined with a reward of some special wii time of prince caspian or nintendo ds lego star wars if he does well.... and that is when he is feeling well, not hurting!

Calgon, take me away!!! the good news is that his pediatrician is right across the hall, so I am hoping to get him seen either right before or right after so I dont have to make two trips!

We also have a little garden outside...of course it was just started a few months ago...but so far the watermelons have taken over the rest of the garden We have tomatoes and cucumbers and watermelon and honeydew melon...but now since there has been so much rain and we have been gone, we cant tell what is what anymore

Mike just told me that we have another Tropical storm headed our way...OH LOVELY

Gail- I know you are in bed but I wanted to respond to you I hope that Merkie gets better soon Its hard dealing with Anxiety...If it gets too crowded I go back to the room, or what we usually do is wait until later in the day to go...that way most of the people are leaving the park in the evening/afternoon to go back to their hotels/home to rest. Thats when we take advantage of the break. Although most times we do not go when the park is REALLY busy. We did a couple times and wound up going back home to my moms/or to the hotel. I do OK If I dont have to deal with talking to anyone...but when I do, I have to rehearse what Im going to say over and over again so as to not MESS UP, and If I have to talk for any length of time, I start sounding shaking and getting my words all flubbed up. It isnt fun That is one reason that I am/was so nervous about the Cruise meet...But I am desperatly trying to overcome my fears...Its a slow process but Im trying

Good morning Shauna! I am so glad that you shared this with us. Now, we can help make it easier on you. I know with my Dad, he needs time to warm up to new people before he jumps into conversations and he also has a greater need for his personal space. When we all get together for holidays, etc., we are careful not to all gather around Dad or let the kids smoother him. I don't know when you developed this problem, but my Dad is 64 and this just started in the last ten years or so. He gets so frustrated with it.

they boys had a great day at school. thankfully! LOL

Shauna, I would go with a value resort and RENT a stroller at the park! Then you will save some money, renting a stroller is not near as much as staying at the Poly! ALTHOUGH, the Poly is AWESOME!

Okay, we are running behind. The boy's bus was nearly 30 mins late today. Football is 30 mins early now! 6-8 instead of 630 -830, staying until 9 sometimes. Now they turn off the lights at 8...strick rules, but I love it. That's a good thing. Looks like rain too! Oh well....

I have photos to share, but I'll have to upload them later tonight!

Yes Thank you for that suggestion. We are staying at Pop right before the cruise...I do like Pop...but for some reason my hubby didnt mention this one to me...He only said All Star Sports...I can ask if it is available as well because that MIGHT be an option. But I think I am wanting to spoil myself for a little bit and try the Monorail resort...I know that Chris would LOVE seeing the monorail each day...as that is one of his favorite things when we visit MK...letting me know which monorail is coming thru.

Every year, for the last 7, I have made a Bus Cake for the first day of school. So here is my Seventh Annual Bus Cake!

Here is the boys in front of the pictures on the wall in the kitchen. I have not moved them in years, so I have been able to see the boys "grow". Sort of like having a mark on the wall. I can't find 2007??

I know what you are going through. Merkie is sick to. I am waiting on her to finish getting ready and we will be off to the doctor. I hope your two feel bettter soon.

Well, I'm off to bed. I should have gone in to work today. Merkie is sick. She has complained for serveral days with runny nose and sore throat. I thought it was her allergies and increased her zyrtec (she is on low dosage all the time and we increase it during flare-ups). That hasn't helped. Today, she has fever and aches, etc. The secretary at school said that Strep Throat (spelling?) is going around at school and that five children in her class were absent today with it. Looks like we have the doctor waiting for us tomorrow.
