Hello everyone! We're home from the game. Merkie's school lost both games. One was really close and a good game. We got killed the other. For those who don't know, we here in Kentucky take our basketball pretty seriously. That's all the way from peewee basketball to the college level. We just hate to lose. Who ever wins these preseason tournaments has county wide bragging rights until the postseason tournaments, and believe me, what ever team wins does their bragging. On the bright side, one of my good friends had a daughter playing on one of the teams that beat us. If we couldn't win, I'm glad she did.

I happened to be on ebay earlier looking for Disney ties and happened to see some watches. It was tempting. Although I'm not sure how the other guys at work would treat their Sergeant if he was wearing a Mickey watch. There goes all the respect...LOL LOL
It's kinda like wearing that pink shirt. You just gotta do it, and dare them to question it!!!:rotfl2:

No, the boys don't ever forget thier things. Thier anal, overbearing, over protective, helicopter Mom won't let them! LOL

Allen, love the watch and Randy, I would respect you if you wore it!!
Thank You!!!! Every day you see me, you will see it!!!

Kinda like football around here...

CONGRATS,, MERKIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Merkie's school lost!

That's okay. Merkie doesn't play. She just went because she's a little social butterfly. She cracked me up. This is the first year that I have let her walk around with her friends in the gym. She has always had to sit with me, or with a friend's mom. She just thought she was so grown up.

Gail- Im sorry to hear that Merkies school lost both games but it was good that she has a friend on the other team...makes the loosing a little better

Kristin...we actually only live a few blocks away from DMIL...we just cross over 1 main street and then we have a few minor roads but nothing major...we have walked there before (although it takes us about 45 minutes to walk) but nothing bad or undoable ;)

Your right Allen...sometimes a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do!!! They would only laugh once...................I hope!!!!

Every place has some sport that they love! Our local football teams are really bad. I try to go to one or two games a year at our local high school just to be seen there (small town life), but we seldomly win a game.

That's right!! What's good about mine is, you have to look real hard to see the mickey head on it. I show it to people!! :teeth:

I never wear a watch without Mickey! Although I did get new batteries for my dress watch for formal night.

Yup...Nice watch even without the Mickey. Although the Mickey does add just a little something extra!!!!

Since we are revealing Mickey jewelry that we always wear...I always wear my Mickey mouse MOM necklace that I bought myself at Downtown Disney a while back. I bought it because I felt so bad...I lost a charm that I LOVED dearly that i found when I was pregnant with Chris...It was a heart but the heart was actually arms and hands holding a little tiny baby...I LOVED that charm and Mike bought it for me when I was pretty far along preggy with Chris. After I lost it, I was so upset. But finding the Mom charm with mickey head on it made me feel much better. I never take it off and it makes me proud to be a Disney Mom :goodvibes

That's how we feel to. Merkie actually asked me before the game, which team we should be for because Stacey was on the other team. Stacey and Merkie started daycare at about the same time around nine months old and moved on together up until last year when I moved Merkie to another school to avoid a teacher that I didn't want her to have. We intended to move her back after the one year, but she actually liked this school better and they are always ranked #1 or #2 in the county on testing. Their academic team, which Merkie is on, has been county champions for six years in straight and always does well in regions and state. Long story short, she stayed at the new school and the girls don't see each other as much. I met Stacey's parents while they were in daycare and we became great friends. We have drifted apart some to since the school change, but before we vacationed together and were really together several days out of the week. These are the people that I did the Nascar Club with.

ok I'm here now!!!!!!!! LOL
I could almost hear you all calling me:lmao:
