The kids and I leave one week from this morning.... AHHHHH!!!!

Still can't hear out of my right ear...

BUT... our iron-ons are DONE. FE gifts are DONE. Shopping is DONE!!

Now for Kaj to wash and vacuum the beast, put on our DCL window clings, finish packing up our clothes and such, and finish getting the house and such ready for our departure...

Not to mention the dentist appts, doctor appts, hair appts, the rest of the week... put a hold on the mail (Brian has to go to Calif part of the time we are gone next week!) and try and get a little SLEEP so I can drive to Ohio!!!!

The kids still have NO clue that there may be a shuttle launch... OH I hope this works out so we can see it... it would be SUCH a great surprise! Kaj is bringing his flight suit from Space Camp (he got to go last year for his 13th bday) for when we visit KSC, can you just imagine the freak out fit he will have if he can see a launch too?

He got his braces off today, so he is busy planning all the things he will be able to eat on the cruise that he had to avoid last time.. anything with nuts, caramel, taffy... popcorn I think is what he missed most though. ANd chewing on ice! KIDS!!!!

Hello all!!

back from football! It was actually chilly out there tonight! thankfully, i had a blanket in the car!

Colton and I just had an arguement. One of the things I ask him to do in the evening is water my flowers. He TOLD me he did, but I knew for a fact he didn't. The dirt was dry, the drive was dry and the sprayer was set on a setting you wouldn't use for watering baskets. SO, I nailed him on it. He came back and apologized. I told him, I don't lie to you, you won't lie to me. He said, "You've lied to me!" I said, "NO I have NOT. I have NEVER lied to you!" He said, "How about Santa Clause, The Easter Bunny and the Toothfairy! None of those are real!" I busted out laughing!! He said his friend Seth told him! That means, up until THIS YEAR, he beleived! I don't know whether I am sad or relieved! LOL I wonder if Connor knows????

Off to get everyone to bed....be back!

back from football! It was actually chilly out there tonight! thankfully, i had a blanket in the car!

smart kid! I say relieved! Now at Christmas, you can not have to worry about getting big kids from Santa if you don't want. After my kids both knew, now they understand that the big gift comes from us, so we can spend more on a quality item rather than trying to get stuff from us and Santa.

I say it's a relief!!!!! You don't have to wait to make sure the kids are asleep before you put out things from Santa!!!! You wrap it and put it under the tree earlier if you want to!!!!!!!!! LOL

The whole Santa things worked out well for me, cuz it was the year we got the Wii! Then on Christmas Day I was able to complain and make sure they knew that I waited in line outside, in December at 3 am to get the darn thing!!!!!!
