OK it's night night for me as well. Hump day tomorrow and so far it hasn't been a good week, ugh, I hate coming back from holidays.
Man ain't that the truth....Good luck tomorrow! Good night all!!!OK it's night night for me as well. Hump day tomorrow and so far it hasn't been a good week, ugh, I hate coming back from holidays.
EEKs I guess I kinda got on a little to late tonight...sorry everyone.
Allen the Design is cool...
So what is everyone doing for the shirt? The small one on the front and a large one on the back or what? Im not going to start doing mine until I know for sure what everyone is going to do...And also are we all putting our DIS name on the shirts as well? That would be cool.
-Is everyone wearing your shirts onto the ship the day we embark, or are you going to change once you get on the ship into the shirts![]()
Goodnight to all of you who have or are going to bedTalk to you all tomorrow

My day was good...went to Michaels today to look around (love that place) and I was able to get some transfer paper that is stretchyfor the shirts and I got myself a shirt to put it on.
I am practicing making my first FE...so far I think I will stick to either letting my parents do it or buying my own...I dont think its worth the frustration. It MAY turn out ok...but I dont think it will be anything that I will want to do again or be too proud of![]()
How was your day Kristin???
I like the idea of the small design...simple yet efficient!
That trampoline sure sounds like fun. My aunt had one when I was little but we didnt live close enough to her to use it...Wish we did though. I would love to have one now but we dont have anywhere to put one![]()
We are leaving EARLY friday for the airport for VEGASWe will be gone for a week but i think that Mike is bringing his laptop and aircard so that we can go online while we are there
So I can keep in touch with everyone each night...well they are 3 hours different so I might have to just leave messages whenever I can if no one is on here

Im more excited about the cruise to be honest with ya...but who wouldnt be![]()
We are back from SoCal and it turned out to be a rewarding trip.
My father was released from the hospital on Friday, so he was able to attend the game. His physical recover has been amazing, but his cognitive status is still questionable. He will need to move into an assisted living setting in the very near future. However, he was able to handle all of the hoopla on Saturday night pretty well. It was a little overwhelming, at one point there was said to be a few thousand people in line for his autograph - who would have thunk it - really who would want my dad's signature? He stuck it out until the end. His friends from NASA were in attendance and they treated it as a retirement party. He is officially retired now after 50 years with NASA. He unofficially retired a few years ago, but has been writing a book at Dryden since that time. They presented him with a poster that pictured many of the planes he had flown over the 50 years. One included all of us kids with him by the X-248 (I think). Maybe I could take a picture of it. Below is a article they wrote in the local paper.

Finally, my sister called and told me about this:

We could be rich - we have a whole case of these in our garage now.
Anyway, it's good to have him home.
Thanks, but I didn't design it, Nancy did. I just made it bigger. I think most everyone will put the small one on the front of the shirt. The bigger one is for anyone who would rather put it on the back or center front. Either way, the big one can be re-sized down and it has room to add your dis name to the bottom!!EEKs I guess I kinda got on a little to late tonight...sorry everyone.

Its a pretty cool place..a lot different than I thought it would be. I never thought I would like a place like Vegas but I am drawn in just as everyone else tends to bebut I am still determined to visit the states that I have never been to as well....Want to see California and New York one of these days

Hope he is well enough to cruise. It would be great to meet him if he feels up to it!
