OCTOBER 10th MNSSHP meet!!!

I'm still trying to decide on a costume. I was thinking pirates might be fun as well! I am just trying to think of something a little different since I figure everyone will be dressed like Disney princesses, Minnie and Mickey, etc. So, what is everyone wearing???

Also, I think we should just plan to meet at the hub right by the partners statue. Then we can go around to the party together for a bit before seperating. Hope we can make this meet work, I think it would be really fun!

Sorry for the delay in response... our ADR is actually at 2:45pm for lunch (they didn't have anymore for dinner). However, we are still debating whether we were going to head back to the resort mid-day and then back to MK around 5ish (so skipping LTT) and grabbing dinner at a CS somewhere (or back at the resort)...

It's kinda hard to plan, but we know it's gonna be a long (but fun) day...

Tiggerrn2, wow, that is a great idea, good thing you have a family of 4! That is going to be so cute!

You guys are so creative and prepared with these costumes, I still have no ideas. I'm sure something will come to me...

vascubaguy...I did make an extra ADR at LTT for 4:05pm in the event that we wanted to do the DIS meet there. You are welcome to 2 spots on that ADR. I know that's early for dinner, but if you'd like the reservation, it's all yours!

Does anyone else have any thoughts on if we should try to just arrive at LTT as soon as they open and see if they will accomodate all of our ADR's at that time? I know on our last trip we arrived early for a few ADR's and we were always accomodated, but I don't know what the situation would be with this being a special event night and the resturant being booked solid.

Looking for info, I read on allears that last year the characters only come out at Liberty Tree from 7-11pm does that mean they wont be there for a 5 oclock dinner? That was my selling point!

I haven't bee no here for awhile. My confusser has been down. Just checking back to see if we are all still going to Tony's on the 10th. If not, where are we going to meet at if I'm still invited. I'm so ready to go and maybe never come back. Maybe we all can get jobs done there and just move in 1 big house together. I'm sure we would'nt have any trouble what to put on the walls to decorate it.

I have not heard anything good about the food at LTT has it changed, last I heard it was like stouffers food? Still havent cancelled my Poly dinner reservation yet LOL

This will be our first time eating at LTT for the Halloween Party, but I heard they dress in costumes. We have eaten at LTT in the past and liked the food- of course I am a simple girl--not in to real fancy food. There is flank steak, turkey, ham, green beans, mashed potatos, mac and cheese.

I think that we are planning on meeting at the hub by the partner's statue. I think we still have to firm up a time to meet though.

Hello everyone...

School just started back here today, so things have been a little hectic. This is my daughter's first year of being in school all day. She was in half day kindergarten last year. We really enjoyed our afternoons together after kindergarten last year. I am going to miss my baby, it was a sad day for me!

Indianadisneyfan...of course you are still invited!! We are just kind of throwing ideas around for now as to where exactly we are going to eat. Any opinions are welcomed! And yes, I am definitely interested in living in this big house you are talking about in Orlando. Heck, let's just get a suite at the Grand Floridian!

As far as the meeting time for those not joining us for dinner...
If we go to dinner at 4:25 at Tony's wouldn't we probably be done by 6? I dunno, I just think 6 sounds like a resasonable meeting time. I could have my cell phone and one person from the non dinner group could have a cell phone. That way we could keep in touch if dinner goes late or anything. What does everyone think about meeting at 6?

Oops! I guess I was just thinking about those of us eating at Tony's! I agree, 6 would be too late for you.

Maybe we should just meet at 7 since that is when MNSSHP starts? We can meet at the hub and get pictures of everyone all dressed up and then head out to the party!

Alright everyone, well, I'm out. I am 3 months pregnant, so I was going to be about 5 months pregnant for my solo trip in October. I was okay with this since it was just a solo trip and I was going to be taking it easy. Yesterday I had an appointment with my OB/GYN, and.....it's twins! I am shocked, sad, excited, overwhelmed, you name it. After lots of thinking and talking with DH I have cancelled my October trip. I was barely able to afford it to begin with, but now with 2 babies on the way, there is no question, this trip is not in the budget. I am very sad to have cancelled my trip and I still don't know how I feel about the babies, I'm just trying to process everything right now.

As far as the meet goes...I can leave the Tony's ADR as it is. Since they don't check ID for ADR's, someone can just check-in giving them my name. Or, if folks are no longer interested in eating at Tony's, I can cancel it too. Whatever you all want to do.

I would love to see this meet go on as planned, and I will certainly be there in spirit! Best wishes to everyone, and have wonderful trips in October!

Thank you! No, these are not my first. I have a 1 year old son and a 7 year old daughter. This was an unplanned pregnancy, so when it turned out to be twins...WOW, I was shocked. I think I am still taking it all in.

Congratulations. I am sure that is must a pretty big shock to be told twins. Please keep us posted on how you are feeling.

Congrats Stitch. The idea will grow on you. Take it easy. Get lots of rest, stay hydrated, and eat healthy. You will feel wonderful about everything soon enough. And never turn down any offers for help!!!
