October 10-14, 2010 Taking a "Wonder" Break

Thanks for the tips. I will be looking for that packing list. I know we are a long way out, but I am a planner. Also, I figured out the over the door storage thing yesterday. I kept seeing all these posts about Fish Extenders, and I had to find out what the heck that was and what it had to do with a Disney Cruise. They sound very handy!

Have any of you been in October? Is the weather nice then? Is the water warm?

Welcome Aboard! Congratulations on your 20th Wedding Anniversary!! Our 20th will be in 7/2011. We'll be taking one of the Alaskan cruises for our 20th Anniversary.

We took our first Disney Cruise in October 2006. We were celebrating our 15th Anniversary a few months late. The weather was warm & sunny. It did rain the morning of Castaway Cay & I was worried but it cleared up and we didn't miss one moment on the glorious island.

Hi everyone!! My DS, Matthew, 11, & I will be with you guys on this cruise!! It'll be our 2nd Disney Cruise - we went in October last year & it was PERFECT!!!! This year is a bit different as we moved to Orlando in January, so we live near the mouse! Hopefully we'll be able to cruise more often now!!

Are we planning any meets or doing a Fish Extender???

Hey everyone. I emailed my travel agent to price a voyage on his DCL cruise! My wife and I are looking for a getaway that week!

This would be our 3rd DCL voyage. We are DVC owners at AKV and I'm a former WDW CM!

We booked!!!!! Wahoo!!!!!!! Soooooo excited! Booked a Cat 9 on deck 2, hoping for a pixie dust upgrade or a paid upgrade at port. We shall see what happens!

We also just got closing documents today for an SSR resale contract!

That's great! I just got back from a 3 day on the Disney Wonder. It was awesome.

We're onboard...WOOHOO!!! We're doing our first B2B with this one and the 3 night right after this. It will be our 9th and 10th DCL cruises....then we'll be platinum. I'm so excited. I can't wait. I'm paid in full so I get to book Palo, spa and shore excursions on June 27th.

It will be me and DH travelling together. Our last cruise was January 2010 and it was FREEZING. I can't wait to go back out in the warmth.

We're booking an Atlantis excursion, a hot stone massage for DH, parasailing on CC for my nephew who is now coming with us and Palo brunch. Then on Wednesday at midnight, I get to book for the three night cruise that we're doing right after this one.

Did you get everything that you wanted? I was able to get CC open cabana couples massage for DH and I, as well as Palo for brunch (not sure if I'm keeping this) and Palo for dinner on the night of our 10 year anniversary!

Ahh..you're doing back 2 back?!?!! I was considering adding the 3 day on as well!! I was just talking to DH about that today-- we're supposed to go back to WDW for 3 nights after the cruise, but for what we will spend there on food, etc. we may as well do a back 2 back!....I'll keep ya posted!

So this morning I got on the DCL Website an found that two "Secret Porthole" rooms had opened up on our cruise. I emailed outlr TA and she was able to "downgrade" us from an Ocean View room on the 2nd deck to a obstructed view porthole on the 5th deck.

Saved us $200 and got us to an upper deck! Wahoo!!!! Very happy!

So, is anyone interested in doing a fish extenders exchange?

We're doing B2B too. We're hoping to get Palo Brunch at 90 days out. If you decide not to do the brunch would you hold onto your reservation for us, just in case I'm not able to book it?
