October 10-14, 2010 Taking a "Wonder" Break

At present we are booked for the DCL excursion on 10/11 @ 9:20 I think. Tried to get the earliest one. You could stll get that deal on your own for 3 @ bookit.com if you wanted. It would be a little less because there's only 3 of you instead of 4. As for the water rides I'll probably do most of the ones that Robby is doing, but I'll certainly make some time for the lazy river too.

We have late dining also & we are in 7541 B2B. If you would like I could set us up to be dining mates.

We are booked at the same date and time as you for the Atlantis excursion. That's so funny. I'm going to stick with DCL this time. Last time we did it on our own and booked a day room. I want to try it with DCL.

Casey will be joining you then on the water rides....hahaha. I'll see you when you get to the lazy river.

I would LOVE to sit with you for dinner. That would be so great. I always say the more the merrier. I'll send you all my ressie info in a PM. Thank you for doing this.

Oh, on the 3 night we're already linked with some other Diser friends for dinner, but would love it if you wanted to join us for that part too.

We're going to have such a great time!!! I'm really anxious because it won't be long now.

As my name suggests, I am ImaginnerM's Wife and I am super excited to sail away on the wonder! This will be our 3rd DCL trip and We've become completely spoiled by them. I don't think we could ever sail on another line now.
I've been reading past posts, trying to get caught up and wonder if anyone is interested in doing the Fish Extenders? I think i've only read posts by 1 or 2 people who said they might be. We've done the Fish Extenders both times we sailed and love them! I actually sewed ours myself.
We always enjoyed coming back to the cabin to find little treats waiting for us. shout it out if you guys are interested in doing this and I'll voluntEAR ImagineerM & myself to organize it! I'll post a pic of our Fish Extender later.

Hi all!! I believe I introduced myself earlier in the thread. But to recap - I'm Angela & will be cruising with my son, Matthew (11). This will be our second Disney cruise. We cruised last October and had a BLAST!!! It was such a coincidence that one of our group was seated with us for dinner and they were great! We did the fish extender and it was so much fun. I'd LOVE to do it again. I did coordinate it last time, but unfortunately I don't have the time to do it this year. Soooooo...if anyone wants to take that on it sounds like we have enough people to do a FE. Really, the coordinator just needs to be the "contact" person - gather room numbers, names/ages of everyone & decide how to best do the exchange.

Hello all We have never been on a cruise. We are extreemly excited to be going on the Disney Cruise. My wife and I will be going along with our daughter 11 and our son 7. We need to know all the things we need to do to make this a vacation we will always remember. For example can any onone put one of those fish extenders out side their door? Does everyone decorate their doors? We are excited for pirate night. My wife has been sewing our pirate outfits. We want to know it all. Thanks for the info . We cant wait.

Welcome Aboard! Anyone can put a Fish Extender outside their door but unless you are on someones FE list you may not receive anything. OK not to worry I believe ImagineerM's Wifey is getting the FE list together. Just post here with your names, room # & ages of children.

Lots of people decorate their doors but not everyone does. For pirate night some people dress up & it's fun to do that.

Lots of info for you on these boards but don't hesitate to ask any specific questions.

I just checked the calendar.....only 50 more days until we leave. We're driving down and leaving on Tues Oct 5th. We're doing a DISmeet with a friend from the UK on Wed Oct 6th. Then we're doing the Food and Wine Fest with John's daughter and son-in-law, Sandi and Joe, on Thurs Oct 7th. They live near the Port and will be staying overnight in Orlando with us so we'll probably do something together on Friday. Saturday we're picking up my nephew from the airport and driving down to Bradenton to see more family. Sunday we get onboard. The plans are coming together nicely and I'm getting excited to get started.

After cruise we're staying onboard. We're doing a B2B....our first one. How special will that be!!

When we get off after the B2B we're doing the Food and Wine Fest again with DISer friends this time and we have ressies for Ohana, Wishes and Dessert Party and Cinderella's Royal Table. When we leave Orlando, we're visiting family in Fort Lauderdale for two nights. Then we finally drive home.

It's going to be a great trip.

The wife, Amy, and I will be traveling with you guys on the 10/10-14 cruise!

She & I both have birthdays on 10/10, so we decided to make 10/10/10 extra special! We booked this cruise almost two years ago! We are also adding WDW days before and after the cruise...should be the trip of a lifetime!
