Oct weekend trip - Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun

My husband and I are thinking of planning a quick weekend trip for October 24-26. Yes, we know it will be packed. We were just there in February but craving another trip and we love going at Halloween time. We are Disney veterans but usually avoid weekends. We will only be doing Disneyland, not California Adventure this trip.

Would you choose going Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday? We are a 6 hour drive away and plan to just take 1 day off work.

I'd do Friday/Saturday because there's an Oogie Boogie Bash night on Sunday. That might make Disneyland more crowded since people can't go into DCA.

Thank you! I forgot to look at the parties for Sunday. So yes I agree to stick to my Fri/Sat plan.
