Oct travelers - Who has airfare booked already?

Hey ya Hoosiers! I'm still waiting too...just wanted to remind you all that Airtran is starting flights out of Indpls in April (I think it's April) They have flights up to Oct 5 last time I checked. They are around $79-$84 each way. Not too bad of a price. My bet is that Southwest won't have there prices out until June! :sad2:

We're waiting. Not because I want to, but because DH nearly takes my head off every time I say something about the trip. He starts a new job tomorrow. By October he will have earned a week of vacation, but we aren't sure if he will only be able to take off Sun.-Sat. or if he can add the weekends before and after the trip. His schedule won't be M-F, it will rotate. Then he is griping at me about needing time to rest when we get back, so we need to know what day he will have to return to work. I specifically told him to TELL HIS NEW EMPLOYER that we have this trip booked, but he refused. I thought it was better to tell them NOW, but he doesn't agree.

So I haven't done anything with air because I have no clue if we are leaving Oct. 14, 15, or 16. I don't know if we are coming back Oct. 21 or 22, and I don't know if our return flight needs to be at the crack of dawn or if it can be in the afternoon. GRR!

My one consolation is this:
If I bought the tickets now to make sure the price didn't go up I would be looking at $100 per ticket to change dates/times PLUS the fare increase. Better to wait. Even if the price goes up another $100 per ticket I am still in the same place I would have been!

Booked ours Jan. 28. from Minneapolis with a change of planes in Cleveland on Continental for $148.50 total. Going to bring the two youngest granddaughters. :earsboy: :earsgirl: ::MinnieMo ::MinnieMo

Booked my BUF - MCO last week. I travel from Toronto to BUF as the cost is so much less, and boarder crossing easier. I am flying Jet Blue and the full fare was $192.80 I am happy with this fare. Out of YYZ it would be closer to $400+, and the stop-over cities are not that great, ATL, DET, CHA, and PIT. I never have the patience to wait for SWA to open my dates, how sad!
