Oct/Nov/Dec Code Watch

AP codes for this timeframe (Oct/Nov/Dec) were released on August 25th last year....so looks like you guys have a little wait.

That's my b-day! I would be happy to receive that gift from Disney this year...

And us too...December 7-15th. We are hoping for good codes, but from what I have seen in our situation, the AAA rates beat the AP rates on a RPC room, probably because they just discount it a flat rate (AP) instead of a percentage off the room like AAA. I am really not hoping for better than what I have now, but will still check just in case! :goodvibes

Add us to the waiting list...We booked WL at the end of Nov. beginning of Dec. but are crossing our fingers for an AP code!! :wizard:

Come on, no whammies, need that AP code for DEC!!
First ever girls trip with best friend! :earboy2: No kids, no husbands, what else could I ask for------A CODE!!

Add us to the list, going first week in Dec. DD wants to stay at the Poly. We stayed at GF last christmas and loved the resort all decorated but we want to go back to the Poly. Gosh it seems like yesterday I was waiting on Dec codes for 2004 and here i am waiting again for Dec codes 2005. Gosh that year went fast.

Not to hijack the thread, but did you have a good time at the GF for Christmas? That's where we've booked this year. It's our first Christmas trip (hopefully not the last!)

Yes we LOVED the GF at christmas time it was awesome (despite our 48 hr stomach flu) we had a great time. We went with my mom and my inlaws and everyone fell in love with the GF all decorated. Plus there are character meals there so easy to get to. We have small kids so we find the monorail resorts a must. We just got back from the GF, we went in April our 2nd trip in 6 months to GF and still love it.
We are choosing the Poly this time because my DD loves that resort also and it is a little less expensive (not by much though).
You will love the GF in Dec.

Thanks for the positive report. I've been reading that "hated the GF" thread and was a little worried. I guess they'll be people who love and hate each of the resorts. We're really looking forward to our trip and are doing 1900 Park Fare dinner and b'fast. Can't beat the monorail with small kids either!

I am also waiting for an October code. I want to stay at AKL Oct. 2-9 and I hoping for a better rate.

One question, I do not have an annual pass right now, but I will get one if the AP rates are good. How do you find out what the AP rates are going to be? From what I've read on the boards, I think current AP holders get an e-mail... so how do the rest of us find out about them?

Thanks

waiting for October and December codes as well! We will be going in June, but hoping to go back to either celebrate our youngest DS 1st birthday in October or at least by the beginning of December to soak in all the beautiful decorations!

I was reading your responses and you are waiting for codes, can you explain what they are because we are planing our trip to Disney for the first week of Dec and trying to learn everything about whats going on.

Disney releases discount codes for Annual Pass holders. You do not need to have an AP at the time of reservation, but you will need it when you check in. It is always a guessing game as to when they will release the codes. If you are looking at December it will probably be at the end of Summer before they release them. Just keep checking the boards. It is ALWAYS posted immediately...the first member who gets them posts them right away for others!

Count us in too! Currently have CBR at rack rate :earseek: to hold the room during Christmas week. Will have to cancel if no AP rates come out. I don't think there was an AP code for Christmas week last year, but there was for 2003. Here's wishing for 2005 :wizard:

I'm waiting for a general public room only code for Oct 1-7. I'm doubtful that there will be anything other than AP rates, but it would be nice if there were general public codes. If not, I'll have to settle for my AAA rate a POR.

That's weird... I was at the GF in Dec 2004, and several in my party (including me) had a stomach illness too!

Can I ask were any of you lucky enough to get AP rates for your Christmas dates last year? Our dates are 25 December thru 6 Jan. We were hoping we might pick something up even if it's after the New Year.

Thank you :)
