Oct. Family 5k questions

Does anyone know what happens after the race and how long that might last?

I have ADR's for Sci Fi at 11:15 and wonder if I should make it later. I know DD and I will want to go and shower at ASMusic and we will have a rental car.

Also, is there anywhere to put my camera, other than on my body while we run? I want to be sure I get pictures of us, but am not sure how I would go about that.

Any ideas?

I am not sure that anything special happens. I would think you are good to go for your ADR.

As far as your camera question... the only place you have is on your body or in the car. No bag check for the 5k. I would put in in a fanny pack and take it with you.

Disney might also have photographers taking pictures along the course. I know they do for the full and half marathons. You will just want to make sure your bibs are visible because that is how you find your pictures. All of my running pictures have come from course photographers.

If anyone knows for sure that they do or don't have the photographers for the family 5K's they can let you know for sure.

If Disney photographs it, is the same people who do the photopass in the parks? I bought the CD already for the trip, just wondering if the race pictures can be put on it also. I doubt it, but I'm hoping.

No, ASI is a company that specialized is race photography. There are a couple of them but Disney events use ASI. They take the photographs at the races and then upload them to a website where you can search for them by your bib number or name and then purchase the ones that you would like.

To get an idea, here is the lost and found page of a half marathon in Chicago. The lost and found page is where pictures that can't be identified go so you can search for yourself there if your bib was covered up.
