Hi, first time to Disney Paris, been to WDW yearly. Want to stay at Newport Bay or Sequoia hotels for Oct 8-12, 2010 weekend. Their website says they are full. Is this really possible? It's such an off-weekend, there must be some rooms there somewhere, right? If they are full, does everyone here recommend going to the local palace-type hotels for kids or one of the 2 stars? The New York one seem very business-like.

Thanks for any info. Just signed up for the 'special offers' to try to get a discount at one of them. Any other good places to get discounts for the hotels? Thanks!

hiya,if they really are full then id still consider hny. our kids, 3 and 4, loved it. they especially loved seeing mickey on the way back from breakfast each morning :)

I know that Disney are starting to refurbish the hotels so maybe they're running at reduced capacity?

The New York is fine for kids.

The Cheyenne is also a great option if you don't mind not having a pool. It's probably my second favourite resort hotel (behind Disneyland Hotel). The theme is very good, especially if you have boys.

The partner hotels might also be an option. The Dream Castle and the Magic Circus are favourites on here.

We stayed at The Cheyenne last October, i was a little aprehensive about atying in one of the lower grade hotel but it was lovely.
The theming is great for children and the rooms are clean, warm and comfy.
Would recomend it :thumbsup2

i think there is something wrong with the website. i tried to go on it and it wouldnt let me try book. i would check back later. it is rather unlikely that they would be full

Just had a look on Expedia for their onsite hotel prices - they are expensive, and none of the onsite hotels have availability on the 11th October - that may be why it won't let you book on the Disney site? Can you change your dates and bring it forward one day, or shorten your trip by a day?

I agree. I would love to stay at Hotel Cheyenne again! :thumbsup2

Sorry Neko, I've done a dummy booking on the Disney website for your dates, and the only option for those dates among the lower-star hotels is the L'Elysee Val d'Europe - and there is no % discount either, so its expensive (ie over £800 just for the hotel and park tickets). No availability on your exact dates for the Santa Fe or the Cheyenne.

I've tried to book 8-12 Oct. from the Italian DLRP website but it does not let me do that, more it asks me if i would be ok changing dates lol

Anyway both NBC and SL seem avaliable 8-10 so the problem must be the 11th as someone already said.

Said that, i have been in both Cheyenne and SL and i have liked the first A LOT more than the second but for breakfast which was better organized in SL.

Hope you get something sorted, just wanted to add that HNY is lovely, not too businesslike at all......our kids have always enjoyed, at all ages. Lovely hot breakfast as standard too :thumbsup2
