Oct 4-8?

As I said in an earlier post, I am helping a friend book a vacation for her family of 6. Oct 4-8 seems to be sold out in most hotels (including all of the DL ones..I fudged the numbers-2 adults, 2 kids- to check availability, and nothing!). Anyway, just wondering if anyone knew of anything going on. DS and I were there over Memorial Day and there was availability in all the hotels and I booked last minute.
Any ideas?

September & October are big convention months here, and the hotels get pretty booked up at that time.

HMH opens just a few days before that, as well as a lot of schools have their fall break the first two weeks in Ocotber. It's also right before the holiday and there are a lot of conventions!
