We had brunch at Palo last month and it was good. I thought it was a fun experience. I'm not sure if I will do dinner or not. We do want to try Remy at some point. but I'm thinking the b2b next spring would be a good time to do it!

It was nice here today. We went to the library and I got books for my paper. I'm sure I should be working on it now, but alas, I am not.

Found a new $.99 app for my iPhone. 155 days until the Disneyland half marathon and 211 until our cruise. I had a generic app, but saw someone post about their Disney one so I had to find. Only down side, only stores 1 vacation at a time, but I have 2 I'm counting down.

34 degrees here this morning. I thought we were done with all those cold temperatures!! Also we have a very thick fog that has set in this morning.

Just got back from a visit with my dad....finishing up some laundry and then will be starting some dinner....other than that, not much else is going on.

I will be heading to colorado in a few weeks... for my baby's 2nd birthday...cant wait to go...

nothing else really going on here...weather today isnt so bad, a bit windy but the temps are in the 50's...with partial sun...so its all good

Funny April Fool's Day joke.

I am probably the only cruiser, aside from my DH, that has no desire to dine at Remy. We are able to book on July 2nd, but I will be going after Palo brunch and dinner ressies. We might do it on a longer cruise, but even then, we can't justify the $150+wine cost for us. I am excited to see all of the new dining rooms after enjoying the Magic and Wonder so many times, this is all new and exciting! We will just stick with dining in the main restaurants and our free trip to Palo...Hopefully you will be able to grab ressies at Remy's. I have had many friends sail, and they have all been waitlisted to dine at Remy once onboard, and have all been called on the ship given the opportunity, but all declined. No one we personally know has dined their yet. Best of luck on Remy ressies.

We hesitantly booked Remy's on out Jan cruise, thinking we would try it once and maybe never again as it cost $75/pp and we did the wine tasting ($99/pp) on top if it. I will definitely be booking it again on this cruise tho, without the wine part (would rather eat there twice instead).

The food was FABULOUS and like all the other restaurants you can order as much as you like and we did (I for myself, ordered one of everything) and had an excellent 4 hour food tasting. They change the menu every 6 months and it will be 9 months since the last cruise, so, I am looking forward to the new menu.

PS. We also like Palo's brunch better than the dinner (where else can you get a full bowl of caviar for $10) but would definitely take the dinner if no brunches are available.

Good to know that someone thought Remy was worth it!

We had excitement here today with the storms that came through. The girls spent about a half hour in the hall while the tornado sirens went off. DH lost power at work, but other than some limbs off our trees and way more rain than we needed, we are all good! Much more fortunate than other residents of the Mid-South!

Hopefully it will warm up later this week. It is at least staying away from freezing temps here!

Is there a reason we are doing it so early?? I would figure that list will be done alot more times more cause people will cancel or something will come up i would think its way early to be doing it this early without them being completly paid off. I know right now we are going on the cruise but im not a hundred percent sure cause if something comes up that i have to pay for then i doubt we could go or if alot of schools not posting their schedules till at least may or june. So i was just wondering cause I know alot of people do personalized gifts.
